What does your DH do that drives you absolutely crazy???? Ok....I know we all love our significant other....but somethimes there is just one (or maybe 2 ) thing that drives you absolutely crazy! What is it?:D Now this is not generated to be used as a major B - - - - session, I just thought it would be fun to see what IRKS us!!! For me ....well I hate to be in a car when my DH is driving! Is he a bad driver? NO...but he drives like he is 90 yrs old! It makes me crazy! So with that said....yes I do most of the driving when we are together!:p |
I don't have a DH, but my BF does have a few things that I'd like to change ;) I love 99.99% of him, but there's that little .01% that drive me CUCKOO!! LOL One thing is the darn TV, like most men... He picks what we watch 90% or more of the time, and that's fine since I don't enjoy TV that much, but when I sometimes leave watching TV to come on YT, he gets mad because I won't watch with him...what a goof!! And then, once in a great while, I'll say, honey, could I pick what we watch tonight? And he'll be all, OH, OF COURSE YOU CAN, and then as I'm scrolling through the guide to pick MY show he'll say, "oh, that would be a good choice" "oooo, that baseball game looks really good" "how about boxing???" I'm like...UMMMM...I thought I was picking!?!?! HAHAHAHA So yep it's little, but that's his thing...TELEVISION!!!!! |
omg if i replied to this id be here allllll night |
Whiskers in and around the sink. It makes me gag. I literally have a gag reflex when I see them. I automatically feel like I have one stuck in my throat! |
My BF eats fruit like its going out of style! An apple and a banana in the am and another apple with lunch, then after dinner he eats dole tropical fruit out of a plastic jar. Now when the jar is finished he rinses it out and puts it in the recycle bin, but the blue lids are all over my kitchen! Makes me mental! Throw the lid away! I know thats kind of a lame complaint but it just irks me! |
Okay, this may be a dumb question, but im still kinda new here and havent asked yet but always wondered. What does DH stand for. I mean I have my guesses. Darling Husband? Devoted Husband? I just want to know for sure now! :D |

My guess is Dear Husband...or Dam* Husband :lol tears (kidding)!! So, what my DH does that drives me insane the most is.........when I drive, he will be like..."watch out this, watch out that...or slow down...oh..you are giving me a headache with your driving...." finally i told him..."When I drive, just shut up! Only one driver allows in one car at a time! Passenger please be quiet!" :p |
My drive me crazy thing is I tend to exaggerate or estimate when I tell stories and he has to correct me & inform the person of the exact number. It drives me batty. For one what's it matter. For two sometimes a story sounds better if you say there were like 100 people there instead of actually there were only 83 people there. Or it took 10-15 minutes to get there....actually it took 12. Really who gives a crap what the exact number....just shhhhh. Also this drives me nuts because my husband hardly ever talks; so he only talks when he needs to correct some inaccuracy in my story. ugggghhhh....i'm getting pissy just thinking about it. |
my DH hmmmmmmmmmm I guess I'll pick just one or two. Drives me crazy when I ask him to do something for me it's on his time.....LATER. But when He decides let's say to cut the grass, no matter what I'm doing it's you need to pick up the stuff out of the yard now or it goes in the garbage(usually the kids toys). Or when we are going somewhere and the kids and I are ready and waiting on him, he decides at the last minute to get in the shower!!!!! Then comes out and if I ask are you ready yet, he tells me , I've been waiting on you:mad: |

With my DH its the standard stuff - wet towels on the bed, toilet seat up...but my the thing that really makes me want to scream is if i have a nite out (VERY rare) and he refers to himself as 'babysitting'. surely it's not babysitting if they're your own kids!!!!! |

ok I could only think of one thing. when I go out for the night and he stays with the kids, I always remind him do not put the security chain on the door...well I come in, put the key in the lock, turn the knob....thinking YES its open...wrong. I cant get in! so its 2 am and Im knocking and making noise trying to get it. when he finally gets up he says HI BABY! IM SORRY  yea so basically him locking me out of my house LOL |
My Husband is very tight with money and it drives me crazy. |
Everything. LOL!!! No just kidding, he is a really good person. He has nerve deafness in one ear and he blares the tv. I can't stand it real loud. When he says, Where is the whatever???? I am suppose to keep up with everything even his tools. ugh!! Drives me nuts. He also scares me when he drives. He is a good driver but drives our SUV like an 18 wheeler. He says, just hold on and hush. Yeah, right!!! |
Well mine keeps correcting me ... ALL THE TIME ... English is not my language ..... it gets embarrassing when we go somewhere and I say something wrong (sound it out wrong) and then he will make fun of me for hr. after that ... |

My Husband scares me when he drives too. I cant stand to ride with him. I dont know how but hes never been responsible for an accident and he doesnt get tickets. I drive much more conservatively than him |
I love my Aaron very much but I ABSOLUTELY can not believe how messy he is! I know I am a bit anal about how clean my house is but I will LITERALLY clean up all afternoon. He comes home, says "honey, the place looks great" :) and then but his DIRTY A$% clothes on the floor right next to the door in the LIVING ROOM WHERE I JUST CLEANED FOR LIKE AN HOUR. HOW HARD IS IT TO PUT DIRTY CLOTHES IN A HAMPER LADIES! BUT I STILL LOVE HIM!!! |
My guy is also 99.9% perfect LOL but there are 2 things that make me mental 1. He SAVES EVERYTHING! Plastic cups from Dunkins, he washes and reuses them, shoeboxes, plastic bags, MAIL -he has a MASSIVE drawer full of mail that he never looks at , never goes through, just throws it in there and now the drawer will barely open its soo full... yet he still is not looking at it! 2. Leftovers - he WILL not throw away anything!!! Teaspoon of rice left he'll container it. Says that him or his kids will eat it, but more often than not I find myself in his fridge throwing away something moldy, smelly or a month old that they did not eat! Like a WHOLE plate of chicken one time. He just does not see the leftover bad food in his fridge! Drives me nuts! Thats it! |

I didn't know my husband had two wives. Mine never goes through the junk mail before putting bills away...he reuses plastic cups, saves allllll the left overs, he licks his fingers unless I glare at him, he hums when he eats. But besides all this, he's 99.999% perfect. I love him soooo much. |
lol!!!!! It sounds like most of our DH's are related! |
OK, the saving left overs thing really pisses me off. I just want to throw it out and wash all the dishes, but Noooooooo. We MUST save it because he is going to eat it. So after it grows purple fur on it, I finally get to throw it out and wash the nasty greasy container it was in. Also I am glad to see so many girls mention the driving. I thought I was having anxiety attacks, but it is good to see that no one has a DH that can drive!:) |
Ok, so I'll admit it-I'm NOT a morning person. I get up, go directly to the shower and stand in there for a while. When I come out I have a cup of tea. Well, from the moment my eyes open until I shut the door and go to work-my husband talks, talks, and talks. You would think he has seen me in years. All I want is some nice quite time until my body wakes up and is ready to face the world (usually not until 9:30a and I wake up at 6:() |
When I start thinking of the things that drive me nuts..... My biggest thing is.. when he takes something out to the garage or into any room.. he never puts it up.. it is placed in the middle of the room or garage and left there. I have to go behind him and put it back where it belongs... But then... he has put up with me and my quirks for 34 years. So I guess it balances out. :yelrotflm |

Oh let's see...I think the ONE thing he does that drives me bonkers is.... he gets the kids totally wound up JUST before bedtime...makes it impossible to get them in bed!!!!!!!!! |

I get grossed out by whisker bits in my sink too. Blech! :sickie: Biggest peeve though is how he puts empty things back in the fridge. Drives me mental! I'm constantly pulling empty bottles and jars of everything and anything out of there. Cupboards too. Want a cookie? Pull the box of cookies out of the cupboard...oops! No cookie for you. |
