| "Biggie" Dog Fighter (Breeder) BUSTED!! (The dogs that he breeds are prized by dog fighters.) Busted! ASPCA Raids GA’s Mountain Swamp Kennels On July 17—just two weeks after participating in a dog fighting bust in Danielsville—the ASPCA joined the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and the Appalachian Circuit District Attorney’s office for the month’s second raid of a Georgia dog fighting operation. Located in the quaint, historic town of Blue Ridge, Mountain Swamp Kennels is allegedly owned by Albert Glenn White, a pit bull breeder and an influential figure in the world of dog fighting. Authorities found three dog-fighting pits on the property and seized 22 dogs, several of them scarred, along with paraphernalia consistent with fighting. White was placed under arrest and charged with multiple counts of felony dog fighting. Dr. Melinda Merck, the ASPCA’s Senior Director of Veterinary Forensics, and Forensic Veterinary Assistant Felicia Earley were on the scene with the ASPCA’s Mobile Animal CSI Unit to examine and treat any victims, as well as gather and process all forensic evidence for building a criminal case against White. “It was a privilege to be involved in this latest investigation,” says Merck, a Georgia resident. “We are sending a clear message to dog fighters that we will use any and all resources available to uncover their illegal operations and bring justice to these animals. This collaborative effort is a shining example of our ongoing fight against animal cruelty.” For complete details, please read our latest press release. It's a battle won but the war is still on - they need to be vigilant and get ALL the 'dog fighters' out there who are making money from intentional animal cruelty. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ps - I hope when they say "charged with multiple counts of felony dog fighting" that means JAIL TIME and not probation or a stupid fine that he can easily afford. Felony means FELONY and I hope it means the big house Even better would be a cell with lots of really BIG BORED Bubba's
