| we just had an earthquake At 11:42 am.. there was a 5.8 earthwquake in East LA. I live 150 miles from LA and felt it really strong here in the desert. I had just asked Mike if he felt it when the news came on TV about it.

| Oh my. Was this a BAD earthquake...as in there is going to be lots of damage in the cities...or just something that was felt, but not enough to damage anything. (I know, stupid questions...you guys can ask me stupid questions about tornados in return.) |

| so far there is no damage of any significance reported. 5.8 can be a BAD earthquake, but it was 7.5 miles deep so other than things knocked off of shelfs, there really isn't any damage noted.

| I saw that on Fox News when I came home from work. We are thinking of all of you in that area of California, and hope there is no damage and everyone is okay.

| Wishes for... no more aftershocks! Hope everyone in the area makes it through without too much damage. Was it '89 - World Series time - that the last major one occurred in southern CA?
