Sad story of missing toddler in Florida
 

The little 2-yr old girl missing since early June in Florida and the mother (Casey Anthony) won't tell the police anything. It's so tragic. I saw a clip of the grandmother in the little girl's room on the news, and she had a little Yorkie jump up and curl up in the little girl's bed. The whole story is just unbelievably sad.:cry:

UGH if it's the one I saw about the grandmother saying the stench in the car was pizza, I am with you on that one. It's so sad :(

It breaks my heart to think what happened to her little girl

I've been following this story on Nancy Grace and I saw the grandmother/grandfather interviwed on the Today show. Very strange story and yes, very sad.

I must have missed it. What happened?

yeah sure pizza. Please a veteran police officer knows the smell of decomposition...so I am sure his thought are much more on the money than hers.

It's so sad and she should be locked up until she gives the proper info about where that baby is.

We were down there when she was arrested and I saw it on the local news. I've been following it everyday since then. It is unbelievable and very sad.

I have been following this on Greta. The grandmother and mother are loons. According to friends of the mother, she has a lying problem. The little girl is so cute.

In the 911 call the grandmother says it smelled like a dead body also. I think the reason she has changed her story is because the daughter was able to watch the news reports while in jail and she called them and told them she knew they didn't believe her....so I think the reason they are acting like they think she didn't do anything wrong now is in case she hears them. They are trying to not piss her off so she will tell them what she did with that baby. It sounds to me like there was a battle between the Mom and the Grandmom over who was raising the child before the Mom and little girl left home a month ago.

I just pray the little girl is OK, but I'm afraid she isn't :(

I agree with the family being loons. I feel so sorry for the little girl, wherever she is. Unfortunately I do not believe she is still alive.

It is so sad. How frustrating that she won't tell what happened. I also feel the chance she is alive is very slim.

So so sad. I've been watching this on Nancy Grace.

If the mother took the little girl and left her moms home to keep her mom from getting the little girl, then why would she want to kill her? Maybe she left her with someone or sold her. I just hope she didn't physically harm her.

I so hate to even say this but I think that precious little girl is gone. It is heartbreaking. The grandparents seem to me to be in denial and I don't know what is going on in the mother's head- but it just doesn't look good.

This same type of thing happened here about 6 years ago not 4 blocks from me. It turned out the Father took the boy (4years old) and confessed to killing him. He said he was the Antichrist and dumped him in a dumpster. The still to this day have never found the boy:(

I pray they find this little girl alive and well.

I could kill that peice of s%#& how could you hurt a child let me talk to her alone i would find out where that baby is

The mother knows where she is... Why not just tell them? She has no renmorse have you seen her cry once? And the grandmother, what a fake. I am a grandmother and if one of my babys was missing I'd be out of my mind.

I heard on Fox that they found some of the little girls hair in the mothers trunk. Everything seems to point that the little girl is gone and the Mom killed her

This just saddens me and I find it hard to express my thoughts in all of this.

When I was in high school a very good friend of mine little nephew was a victim of child abuse, He was just 3 years old when he died at the hands of his mother's boyfriend. I am sure the mother had her part in it as well but apparently she claimed she had no clue he was abused and she stood behind the killer of her child. I could never understand why or how she would stand behind this scum knowing her son was killed the way he was! I still do not understand any of it. It was a very hard time in my friends life and me and a few other close friends were their for her. We attended his funeral and it was heartbreaking! I still cry when they have articles in our local papers about the boyfriend being up for parole, or the mother getting out of prison and living in a half way house. Or when the local Children's Services open a safe house for kids and dedicate it to his memory... Just very sad and any child abuse case I hear or read about just touches me and I alway's think of my friends little nephew:(

I think the mother or someone she knew killed the little girl, or she sold her. It's so sad, i can't believe a mother would do that to her child!:(

How could anyone hurt a child? :mad: :( All evidence is pointing to the mother...I can't even comprehend that. How can you hurt your own CHILD!? Whoever did this is a sick monster (to put it very lightly) and I soo pray that justice is brought to them.

Yes...these events are hard to watch unfold. I do not know this adorable little child or her family, and I live hundreds of miles away...but her picture haunts me.
There is no doubt in my mind that she is gone and is an angel.

However, the one thing I cannot comprehend is...how could the mother hurt that baby? The one person in any child's life that is there to protect her, save her from pain and harm...is the mother. That poor baby girl was more then likely killed by the one person she loved and trusted the most. The thought of that...breaks my heart.

i know.. i heard about this story at first on MYSPACE!! the family had made myspace pages for the little girl.. saying she was missing and to help them find her! (this was BEFORE the mom or anyone was even thought of as a real suspect in the whereabouts of this little girl..) then a week or so later, i saw the story on the news.. and they had said the mom was in jail.. and started to tell the story you all have explained! It is SO SO sad!! :( poor lil baby girl!! :( i too heard the grandma mention something about the smell of a dead body in the mom's car.. as soon as i heard that it just made me SICK! i literally was sick to my stomach.. how horrible is that!! :( :mad: then they showed police digging in the gparents backyard.. etc. so so sad.. and such a bizarre situation! :thumbdown i truly hope that little girl is alive and safe.. but i highly doubt that is the case! :( so so sad!! :cry:

What makes me sick is to see the "mother" of this poor baby GRINNING like a fool every time she's on TV:mad: She looks like she's enjoying all the attention:cry:

I feel for the little girl. It's obvious the mother knows where her little girl is. I hope this girl is found alive and safe, and that she will have a chance at a better life then with this sorry excuse for a mother!

what the..... i just read the story..... sounds to me like they buried that poor little girl under the concrete or something :confused: obviously theyre lying for changing their story so many times... :thumbdown

I could be wrong (I have been before :rolleyes: ) but I don't think the grandparents are involved in her dissapearance. I do think there are some things they aren't telling as far as the relationship between the Mother and Grandmother, which I think is the reason the mother and child left their home in the first place. It's almost like the mother did something with the child because she didn't want the grandmother to have her. I think the Mother is a pathological liar. I find it odd that there seems to be conflicting dates as to when the little girl was last seen.

ok thats a WEIRD story! I mean the grandmother called to report her car stolen but not her grandchild missing, and then said she wanted to press charges for grand theft auto but what about her grandchild? And all the 'C' names, what a hard story to follow. I hope that little girl is found safe & sound and away from those kooks!

another weird thing.. in the 911 tapes.. when the grandmother called she was saying she needed to have someone arrested! then that her granddaughter was missing & she smelt a dead body in her daughter's car! then the mom of the little girl got on the phone.. and told the 911 op. that her mom(the gma) was upset because her daughter is missing and she won't tell her where she is(like she knew where she was or who she was with..:eek::confused:) SO WEIRD! so sad!

i don't think the grandparents have anything to do with the disappearance either.. but SOMETHING isn't right-and i feel like the grandma DOES know something?! (like she found something out AFTERwards :confused: i dont know..:confused:)

that mom is SICK!:mad: it breaks my heart for that little girl!(& the rest of the family.. if no one else had anything to do with it! that must be SO hard to find out the MOM(your daughter, cousin, friend, etc) had a part in this precious little girl's disappearance, that you were trying so hard to find & hoping only for the best! there were so many messages on the myspace pages, reaching out to the 'poor mom' :rolleyes: yeah yeahh.. we all know that's bs NOW! (i'll try and find the link to the myspace pages.. haven't seen them since before i saw the story on the news!)
