Mama Mia Who's seen it? We just got back- it is AWESOME! It's just as good as it looks. I laughed, I cried, I fought the urge to cheer. It's a perfect feel good summer movie. Now I'm off to download some Abba and will be dancing my booty off!:D |

Oh uh.. That doesn't sound good. :p We were going to go see in on Saturday but because of hearing so many negative things, decided to see Wall-E instead. |
OMG did't you just love Mama Mia!! My husband and I went last Friday afternoon when it opened (we even took a 1/2 day off to see it). I love Abba and the movie was fantastic. It was such a girlie-girl, feel-good, happy, toe-tapping, fun movie. :D:D:D I just ran out at lunch today to get the cd! Oh my DH was such a good sport seeing it with me..he's really not into musicals but said it was better than Hairspray but not as good as Chicago. Hahahaha...I take him to all the musicals. We saw Wall-E too and hated it! Not at all what we expected. :( |

Mama Mia I went with my daughter, and we had the BEST time!! She's 19 and I was surprised that she wanted to see it. But she has been expanding her horizons outside of her previously small hip-hop musical circle. Afterward, she immediately bought the soundtrack. It's funny a 19 year old walking around singing Abba songs!! She has now changed my ringtones on her phone to "Mama Mia" so when I call her, she hears that song! I'm changing mine for her to "Dancing Queen" because that's so her. I haven't enjoyed a movie so much for a long time. You're exactly right. It was just a "feel good" movie. No heavy plot or special effects - just fun. Kelly wants to go see it AGAIN this weekend. |
Saw it Friday with my sister and 22 year old dtr. We all loved it. I am a big Abba fan , have a great DVD by them and Cd. The movie was so upbeat and I will definatley by when it comes out. Saw Wall-e the week before, didn't like it at all. took my 88 year old dad to see Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D and was surprised that I liked it. Definately see it in 3D. |
We downloaded the soundtrack and played it a million times last night. It made me want to hop in the car and go see it again.:p My daughter and I probably danced away a zillion calories and since we we dancing around the pool, I guess my neighbors are as sick of ABBA music as my poor huband now is.:D |

It definately looks like a movie where you walk out smiling ear to ear. You know sometimes it's good to take a break from those actions or drama and just go to a movie and have FUN! |

I know, I wonder why. I found it on Amazon. I had never downloaded music from Amazon but they send it right to your itunes list. I think it was only $8.99 too. |
I haven't seen it yet, but I did babysit for a couple that went to see it. They said if you like cheesy movies and Abba its great! but if you are looking for art-its not! |
Loved it so much I have already seen it twice and plan on going back again |
