Cheap Eyeglasses!
 
I found this gem of a site.. www.zennioptical.com where eyeglasses start at $8 a pair! That includes the lenses! They have a bunch of cute frames to choose from and different add-ons you can do. You can even do tinted lenses that turn darker when you're outside! Shipping is only $4.95 per order. I just ordered two pairs to try them out. Ive heard good things about them, though! Thought I would pass it along in case anyone needs some glasses!

Wow that is cheap as heck. The last time I got hubby's glasses they cost me $250 with the insurance paying and my discount.

I know right! Makes you wonder why it's so high when this company can provide these prices?? I mean..I know quality is probably not absolutely amazing..but still! I paid for $21 for two pairs and shipping. That's worth it in my book!

Definitely worth it..not like you keep them forever. The one good thing about hubbie's is that they are the titanium frames so they don't break so easy. They are wire thin and so light....they are nice.

Honestly if you only need them for reading or working on the pc I think you can't beat that.

Exactly! They actually even have titanium frames on the site for about $40! :thumbup:

Oh my gosh, this is great!! Thank you so much for posting this!!

My 11 year old son went through FIVE pairs of glasses last school year... broke them about every month!!! Grrrr.... and every time he did... it was another 180.00 to replace them!!

This will be SUCH a blessing!! We'll definitely be ordering!!

Well now you have this site...but should you ever get presciption glasses somewhere else...I'd suggest lenscrafters. They will replace them for 40 dollars during the year.

Wow, I wish I knew this about a month ago. My son broke his glasses 3, yes 3 times in a month. I couldn't believe it. Took us to the poor house! I am definitely going to check it out. Thank you.

I wish I would have known about this site a week ago...I just spent about $500. for new glasses and contacts. At least I can order different glasses for fun now. I'm going to let everyone I know who needs glasses about this site....Thanks so much!!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing. I usually spend about $300-$400 for one pair of glasses every year and that is discounted with my insurance.

Just got the pair we ordered for DH. They are perfect. Spent less than $20.00 for a pair that look and work exactly like his $300.00 pair! Awesome.

Get OUTA town! Okay, so I haven't worn glasses in years - but I need some for night driving -- so, what do I do? Do I tell them the prescription the doc gave me? Is that how they do it online? And, I suppose I should go and try some frames on somewhere first - ?

I'm glad you updated us! I remember seeing this thread when it first started. I'm seeing an optometrist tomorrow and I've been thinking about getting new glasses again. I got a pair last year for $250 :eek: because I was still covered under my dad's health plan. Now I'm on my own and my insurance doesn't cover any optometry. I wonder if they ship to Canada. I need to find some cheap contacts too!

You just need a copy of your prescription from your dr. They give you little boxes to enter the #s and Viola! There are help boxes if you get confused. One measurement was missing from DH's prescription, It even told me how to make the measurement myself. (distance between pupils) I was worried they would be crap, but Hubby loves them. I am gonna order a pair for TV watching and one to keep in the car now!

I'm glad this thread got bumped back up. When I first saw it, I didn't have the money for a new pair of glasses, even at this GREAT price...but now, I just might have to order me a pair..or two!:D

I got both my pairs and I love them! I spent $20 including shipping and I got two pairs..you just can't beat it! Im wearing a pair right now :)

this is great..im getting ready to go to the eye doctor..and mommy is helping me out on the glasses but if i can get them cheaper on that website i want to...

can you wear them all the time?..i normally where my contacts all the time..till bed time but i would like to change to wearing glasses some days..

oh and this is perfect for my dad..he just found out he needs glasses and he had bought at least 3-4 pairs already and doesnt like any of them and he spent over 400 one pair 300 on another and 150 on one..good grief...lol
