OMG you all I hurt my neck:(
 
I was Vacuuming on Thursday and working on my stairs. well as I went down the stairs the Vacuum ended up falling and hitting me in the neck.:eek:
I thought I was going to be ok but then it really started hurting on Friday.
So instead of going to work today I had to go to the DR. Now I am on pain med and Muscle relaxers till it gets better :(
It really hurts bad :(
I hope it gets better soon I have way to much to do and can't do any of it :mad:

Oh my...im sorry you hurt yourself! Sure hope you feel better soon. I know the frustration of haveing much to do and not being able to do it. But now you have to let your body heal..Take care of yourself!:D

Oh, Hon....I hope the muscle relaxers help! I know it's hard while all those things are pressing in yr mind to do, but you really need to rest! Take care of yourself....keep us posted! :getwellso

I hope you get better..have you consider going to a chiropractor..I go at least once a month to get my neck and back popped..it really does help!

I'm so sorry you were hurt. Be careful on pain killers and muscle relaxers. You might not notice, but they can affect your reasoning, ability to drive, and lots of other things.

Thank you I do go to tha PT and I love her she helps me alot:)


and as for the Pain meds and relaxers Thank you but I have been on them before. that is why I am here at home and not out and about

I feel for you...trust me!!! I literally was doing the same thing a few months ago, but my vacuum landed square in my back! OUCH!!! Hope your meds help...and for goodness sakes, take it easy!!!! :)

p.s. Tino and Lola told me to tell you that lots of Yorkie kisses also help :aimeeyork

Oh my Lori..... that is awful!! Neck and/or back pain is some of the worst! (I have dealt with a previous back injury... not fun at all)
Take Care of yourself.... and let your hubby and Bre give you all the TLC that you can take! :nursing:
Physical therapy can be great... and it sounds like you have a good one.

Hope that you heal quickly! ...... and in the meantime, take it easy! :asleep:

See, that's why I don't vacuum! ;) Only 1/2 kidding-I leave that to DH since he's anal about how things get vacuumed! Take it easy for a few days and allow yourself time to heal! Hugs from the east! :)

oh man girl - that sounds painful - lucky you got something to help.....I used to hate doing stairs....hated it ...but never had a machine fall on me

I hurt my neck and it was the WORST! It bothered me off and on for over a year. I finally changed Drs. The first Dr gave me pain meds and did some injections in my neck that helped a little. The new Dr gave me something called "methylprednisolone." I think it is a steroid. It was a MIRACLE. I felt so good, it made me mad at the old Dr for not thinking of it. I had to take it again about 9 months later (5 day course). If you don't feel better soon be sure to ask about it.

Yoweee, Lori! That had to hurt and probably still does.
Take the meds and relax for at least the rest of the weekend. Don't over do it before your healed or you'll be right back where you started.

Thank you I do think it is just the muscle though.
