I was just reading a post that i wanted to comment on. Unfortunately I don't type fast enough to get in a long answer before my time runs out. And now I can't find it. So I am going to put it here. Sorry it is so long but I have been wanting to say this for awhile now.....

I am still fairly new to YT. I have met some awesome people who have helped me a lot. From problems with my babies to how to get things to work here. Their patience and support are what kept me on this site. There isn’t anything I can’t ask them.
As I grew more comfortable with getting around here, I found the “New Posts” section. Most of the posts I read to start were so helpful. There are a LOT OF WONDERFUL LOVING PEOPLE here who care about ALL YORKIES, and they care about the rest of the people here, too. To most of them, it doesn’t matter what kind of Yorkie you have. You love that dog and they understand that. I have seen so much support not just for the Yorkies but for people who are going through some rough times in their lives. You guys are awesome. I even put up some pictures of my babies. I didn’t do it right when I tried to make the thumbnails.. And a couple of you were right there to help.. Several others took the time out of their busy lives to keep encouraging me. And I finally got it. This is what I have come to love about YT. And I have tried to treat everyone else here as nicely as I have been treated.
I guess, what I am trying to say here is, I came on at a time when everyone was wonderful. Then I read a few answers to posts that I just could not believe. Did those people just lose their minds or what? Such hurtful things were being said. If I had not met all of the fantastic people I had when I first started.. I would have never come back.. And look what I would have lost. I think that sometimes, people don’t engage their minds before they do their mouths/keypad. How would they feel if someone answered them that way?
I choose to ignore those people. I am so sorry they hurt others. But the good here, far outweighs the bad. This is a wonderful site…. And I choose to stay and try to make it better.

This is a wonderful site and ignore the bad comments on the threads. We are here to make the difference :D

I am with you! I try to ignore the drama! Its more fun that way:p

I've been on here for about three years now and this topic comes up every so often.....

I just try and focus on the good....when you think about it there really is a whole lot more nice, helpful, encouraging, and at times funny posts than there are bad......for some reason it just seems like the bad ones stick in our heads longer.....maybe because it is so bothersome. :confused:

All in all this is a great forum, sometimes you will find a little poop in the pot...:rolleyes:

Very well said. I try to ignore the posts from people who are just trying to stir the pot.

Sometimes there are people that just get on here to stir things up. I just ignore them

Wonderful post! I am so very glad that you skipped over the ugly posts and didn't let some unpleasantness spoil your fun. What a wonderfuly positive influence you are!

I'm glad you stuck around! :) I try to ignore the nay-sayers and focus on the many, many good people here. I love YT most of the time, although there have been times when I've taken a step back for a couple of days to refocus. Overall, having YT in my life is better than not having YT in my life.

I feel the same way ... even though I don't know any of you in person ..... :D

I made some mistakes by falling for the negative posts and have not been on for a few days cause I got so upset ... but your right the positive outweighs the negative and I have so much fun on here .... I learned to ignore the mean post by others ....

Well Bobbi, I so agree with you. I try to post positive and ignore the negative......but I mostly live in the dark around here.:D

Thank you so much. I absolutely love YT. I have made some good friends and I hope to make a lot more. I have learned a lot about Yorkies that I didn't know.. and my babies are much better for it. YT is a great place and it is because of people like all of you that it stays that way.

Bobbi I just want to tell you that I think you are a Great Lady and I:love: LOVE:love: your comments I get everyday;)

I also just have to say that one of my Very best friends on here has stopped coming here because of the DRAMA. And another has not been here in 2 months because of it. I wish we could all just get along.

Unless you feel it would be unsafe, consider continuing to just be yourself.Human beings get so caught up in NON-SENCE, but YT it is a Wonderful place. I've meet some great people via this forum also and I am very grateful as well. This group is for Yorkie or non yorkie lovers who are looking for a place to share their views and hear the views of fellow yorkie owners without having to be involved in endless arguments with non-yorkie owners, I welcome everyone and respect their opinions. I do skip the negativity and those who come here to start trouble or be mean...This is supposed to be a helpful site and we must do just that!

I also ignore the negative posts and to assure my posts stay positive, I will most often "preview" my posts before submitting them.
I did see some hurtful posts when I first joined YT, but instead of leaving, I just stayed silent, reading rather than posting, until I felt more comfortable after getting to know some of the members through their posts.
Sounds like you are a good member to have around and I'm glad you are here to stay!

What nice post Bobbi. There are some people who are way to quick with their words (and dare I say) some who don't care what they say. I, too choose to ignore them and look for the good.

I'm glad you found this site and can tell you are a very good addition!!!! I'm on for quick minutes here and there and have gotten away from welcoming newbies as a result. Sorry I missed you!!!!!!!

Beautiful post and I agree 110%. this place has really really helped me with my lil man, my new on the way girl, and to be a better more knowledgeable puppy parent. NOt to mention the love and out pour of support for the situation my sister was in just this week. I love all the members that have taken the time to answer my question and even the one that sent me her phone number just for a talk if I needed.

this is SO ME! I never know what is going on when the drama starts... but I like it like that... hehe.....
