Hahahahaha! I know it's really frustrating and I shouldn't laugh but that was funny!!! I am at a loss on what to advise about the Dumb Ugly Guy parking his a** on your couch and letting you run circles around him. I would not be as patient as you and believe me....I am an extremely patient person. You are the queen of patience in my book. Any idea how long he is staying?....is there an end in sight?


BTW ~ Does DH = Darn Husband? Dumb Husband? Is there a thread that explains all of these acronyms? I know most of them but some of them are brand new to me.:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa

I think under normal circumstances, it means "dear" husband. However, I'm sure at certain other times it can stand for "Darn", "Dumb", "Dead", "Deaf" and "Drowning".;)

He is DH's cousin who needed a place to live so he didn't end up on the streets. He has no money, no job, no car, and no desire to obtain any of the above.
Actually, living on the street might give him motivation to secure a job, money, car, food and lodging. Set him free :)

So far today DUG has SCRUBBED the kitchen (and to my standards even), and offered to clean up the downstairs room. He also cleaned the bathroom and is working on the list I gave him.

Don't know how long it will last, but as for TODAY, even I am impressed.

The kitchen and bathrooms are so clean they are honestly sparkling! :eek:

Ya'll would have been so proud of me this morning. He actually almost got mad at me for "disturbing" him with the vaccuum and that was the last straw. I laid into his butt! I am 5'3" and he is about 6' 4" but I was up on my tip toes ripping him a new one. He backed down real quick and has been working his butt off ever since.

I told him things were going to change and he was going to be helping me around here and doing things or there was the door and he could leave with or without a job or place to live. I didn't give a rats behind anymore!

Even DH's mouth fell open. I was MAD. Then he turned to DH and said, "What's wrong with HER?' and DH said, "Dude, I think you p*ssed her off." LOL Ya think?

No new ones yet because we still haven't painted or bought new furniture. So it still has that "furniture left over from college" look to it. But it will get better soon. I have a little of my own income now so I plan on using it to buy paint and get at least one or two rooms a month painted.

I finally decided how I want to do the girls room. I picked it out in a Pottery Barn kids magazine I got. It's green and white and kind of shabby chic. Its just adorable!

Still haven't decided on son's room or the rest of the house though lol.
