Im in Walsall, United Kingdom. (near birmingham if anyone has been over)
Today is freezing, although the sun is shining. I just wish it would snow, so i could go out with my son to build a snowman, although i dont think mitzy would be impressed.
Just wondered where you are, and what its like there. :D

We're in California on the central coast and it's a bit foggy this morning :)

We used to live in the UK - for four years, both of my children were born there - I really miss the springtime there :) Enjoy it for me this year!

I'm in New Mexico, just outside of Albuquerque in Rio Rancho, and we have been unseasonably warm. I drive a convertible VW Bug and have been able to have the top down during the day all week. Right now at 8:51 a.m. it is 36, but will be 60's as soon as the sun is up. Since we are desert it is cool at night, warm days.

Wonderful in the summer as nights are in the 50's days in the 80's. I rarely run our swamp cooler in summer or heat in winter.

I'm in Maryland, and we just got a bunch of snow yesterday. It's great seeing Hercules in the snow, he's almost 5 months, so it's his first time with the stuff!

We'll be travelling to CA Thursday, so I'm hoping the weather will be nice for us while we are there!!

I truly love the NM weather - We've been here almost 4 years, but have lived many places. I grew up in SE Iowa and miss the greenness and seasons. We spent 2 years in So Illinois, 8 years in the Dallas area, 4 years in Phoenix, 8 mo back in Iowa, then 5 years in KS before moving here.

My favorite thing is the Hot Air Balloons & the balloon fiesta each Oct. This past year almost 800 went up at once. The cool mornings here are perfect for ballooning, but dogs HATE balloons - EVERY dog in the city barks when one comes near. Not sure why.

It is in the 40's here in Arkansas, however about an hour ago I think it warmed up a bit due to the fire in the field by me !! :eek: I was online on Yorkitalk and looked out my sliding glass window to see nothing but a sky and yard filled with smoke. I could not even see my neighbor's house down the road.

Being Sunday my lazy day and still in my froggy jam's and froggy slippers I grab the keyes as fast as I can and drove down the hill to my neighbors...Banging on the door she answers and Im screaming "your field's on fire and heading up the hill to my house!! Call 911 !!
So, in my jam's i grab her hose to try to put out some of the flames, that didn't help a bit. All of a sudden I panicked and thought of Schatzie and Annabelle left in the house and yelled to my neighbor, "Ive got to go get my dogs!!" and drove back up...

15 min's later here roars in the fire trucks and all is under control now.

I felt awful for just leaving her with this fire alone but I realized her hose wasn't going to reach and do any bit of good whatsoever, and all I could think about at that moment was the fire climbing up the hill and catching my house on fire with my two baby dogs inside and how I needed to get them just incase we needed to leave the fire area...

Luckily the winds are not bad today so the fire moved slow, however yesterday the winds were really whipping and it would have made that fire burn faster than life itself..

Oh, what a day!!!

In northeast Ohio we had a huge snowstorm all day yesterday and its really cold. Lots of snow.

I'm in Tennessee and it was snowing earlier today.

i live in southern california and the weather was nice today, there was a nice cool breeze, but iit was sunny...... i love southern cali, dont think i could ever move away

We've had pretty good weather here in Seattle the past couple of days. There's been light rain off and on, mixed with sunshine with temps in the upper 50's. Bentley's spent most of the weekend outside. He loves to explore, chase squirrels, and watch the neighbors walk by.

We are in Colorado on the "western slope" about 25 miles from the Utah state line! We will be here for several years ... our "home" is in Alabama, so the weather here is quite a shock for "southerners" where we rarely wear heavy coats in winter! We are in an area of the state where large accumulations of snow is rare ... we can see it on the mesas and never have a flake here. There are lots of ski resorts ... on our drive back from Colorado Springs yesterday there were just tons of people skiing .... it was really neat! It was really funny ... we got an early phone call from my husband's sister in Alabama just to let us know that it was snowing in Alabama!! :) A rare occurance but it is quite exciting! ;)

Normally, we are in Maine, but for the past two wintahs we have been Snowbirds in Florida in our little Casita camper. We just recently decided to become full-time RVers and plan to sell our house/stuff this spring. We are now proud owners of a new home: a 35' Open Road fifth wheeler that was delivered to us here on the Gulf Coast of Florida last Friday. It is soooooo neat! Even has a fireplace!

And we sure needed that fireplace last night! It went down to 20 degrees here -- a record low for the date. But now it's noon and all warmed up to 54 degrees and climbing. It's expected to be in the seventies by the middle of the week. Awwwww.....

My son in Rhode Island has 30" of the white stuff.......

We don't miss the snow. Not one little bit.

Wow - full time RVers!! That sounds like SO much fun!! If you ever feel like coming to California, they have a great campground at Pismo Beach - my parents used to RV there all the time before they moved to Nebraska :)

I'm in the San Francisco/Bay Area. It's High 50s and I'm freezing my bazongas off.

Otis has eight headlights on. (for those of you with a dirty mind, you'll understand how cold it is to us.)

Its supposed to get 8 degrees here tonight...We got about 19" of snow and its supposed to snow again on wednesday...I hate the snow and I am so jealous of all of you!! 50??? I wish it was 50...I would be out in shorts and a tank top right now if it was 50 here! I think I have had enough of winter. :mad:

Oh yes, I relish this Alabama weather! I read all this talk about snow and winds and count my blessings here in the South. I could not imagine thinking 50's would be good shorts weather, but we are not so acclimated to cold weather. When it snows more than an inch or two in Al. the kids get out of school, and if it freezes, most places around here open later -- like 10 a.m. or so. It's been in the 20's at night this past week though, but that's about as bad as it gets unless something really weird happens. Last time it snowed in Tuscaloosa was 2000 if I am remembering correctly. And by mid-March we'll be laying out catching rays!!!

You're breakin' my heart!!! Brrrrrrrrrr .... Colorado is sooooo cold .... I miss our nice southern winter!! :cool: Although ..... the week before Christmas was a real surprise!! When we were waiting for our flight in Grand Junction, I pulled my heavy coat off and told my husband "take this thing back home ... I won't be needing it until I get back ... 'cause I'm headed SOUTH!!!" Yeah, sure .... stepped out of the airport in Birmingham ... took my breath away!!! I believe it was like 16 degrees!!!! I could not believe I was really home ... I had dreamed of finally being warm!!! Talk about a "kick in the head"!!? ;)

It is a bit cold here in South Florida..if you stay in the sun it is great. It will be about 62 today. I am going to MD the first of Feb and my daughter said it was 24 yesterday..I am glad I left some winter clothes at her house.

It's currently 57 here today, and I'm wearing two pairs of socks, two sweaters, and I have the heater blasting. And my hands are like icepicks. What would I do in 20 degrees weather? We're sooo spoiled, and we don't even know it.

Hahaha it's 60something here and I'm wearing a turtleneck and whenever I go out I put on my coat. The heater is on here too. I don't know what I'd do during a real winter. Probably become a hermit. Too bad people can't use "I was hibernating" as an excuse to not work. :p

I live in Gran Canaria and although we are meant to have the sun all year round, it´s been stormy and cold this winter like 14degrees......it´s like an english summer.

The place im from - Liverpool in England looks so cold on sky news with all the snow and bad weather from big freeze!

I think all the cold has had a knock-on affect all over the world. It´s the coldest winter in the Canaries for about 50years apparently.(that´s what a wise old canarian man told me anyway)

THank goodness the weathers changing this week anyways!!! It has been raining everyday for about a month. The wettest winter in history. I started thinking about moving. Hate the cold. :rain: Waiting for summer!!!

20 degrees and snowing in Chicago!

It was 65 yesterday :bravo: and today it's 45 and suppose to get down to 14 tonite :eek:

im in Holland and the weather here is a poor sight, we are supposed to start spring "fever" but theres little of that :( we had snow in march!! unheard of, its the first time in many years now its just raining and pretty depressing :umbrella: all is grey and wet... blughhhh i need summer i need summer, cant go out for a nice walk with the little one, when i take the lab out the little one has to stay in her carrier wrapped up in a blanket :mad: its been such a long winter it doesnt seem to come to an end :mad: ....
im sick of wearing thick jerseys and jackets :eek:
hope it changes soon before i go crazy!!

I'm in Southern Indiana and we occasionally feel Spring in the air but there's still a chilly breeze in the air. I CAN'T WAIT for warmer weather to kick in for good. We may have one day that's 35 degrees :thumbs_do and one that's 65 degrees :thumbs_up the very next day. All I know is this has been the coldest longest winter for me cause I've been (trying) to housebreak a Yorkie!!! I told my husband to smack me if I EVER suggest a Christmas puppy again. :zip: My next one wil be purchased in the Summer!! :ip:
