Here are the pictures of the new floors, finally! Sorry it took me so long :rolleyes: There were several people that wanted to see them after they were finished being installed....so here they are :) As you all know, we went with the dark ;) I absolutely LOVE THEM!! I couldn't be more pleased and happy with the finished results :) They are soooo much easier to keep clean than carpet. They are great! :D

P.S. - I also got a new coffee table and matching end table (the one with the wood, glass and iron is the NEW one - the other is my old one). And to go with my new coffee table, I made a new floral arrangement :)

Anyway, hope you enjoy the pics! :) I am posting several, so just bare with me lol.

Oops...I think I made the longer pictures way too big :eek: So I re-sized them :p Here they are...maybe you can see them better this way as they are not sooo gigantic lol :rolleyes:

Thank you so much...I love the new coffee table too, and end table! The other one seemed to just disappear with the new area rug I got as the old coffee table had a solid glass top. I think the new furniture looks so much better :) :thumbup:

Thanks so much :) I have been enjoying them tons so far...I have to say, this floor is SO much better than carpet with the animals and kids! Although I don't have any skin kids of my own yet, I do have lots in my family that come over and they were always spilling something...and of course the cat sheds hair like nobodies business :eek: So having floors just makes so much more sense for us :D It is MUCH easier to keep! :thumbup:

OMG did that ever give me a great boost.. I am soon getting my floors done and I can just look at those pictures and think..oh wow mine is going to be wonderful too...thanks for sharing.. lovely room, very homy... anne

OMG! Brooke, the floors came out soooooooooooooooooo beautiful!! They look spectacular with the light colored furniture, rugs and walls!! :thumbup:
I definitely want to check them out. These are vinyl planks, right??? That has to be perfect for having furbabies. I thought about the hardwoods or laminate but with 4 girls with 64 toenails pitter pattering all over the place, i need something more durable!!:rolleyes:
I have Pergo in the kitchen but it will bubble if it gets wet in the cracks. I am sure most laminants have this problem. Real wood probably does too if it isn't sealed.
Thanks so much for sending the link to me!! I am going to show these to DH and see if we can get them too. My furniture is dark so i think the lighter color floors would be perfect for us!!

Been gone a bit with my daughters wedding and my son's move to Adams, WI as he was hired by the County Sheriff's department...Came across this thread and with your new floors I will share a secret that was shared w/ me! It is Hoover FloorMate!!!!!! I have an 1800 Victorian w/ Hardwood and now Oak Laminate in the kitchen and I can't believe how much time I spent cleaning them by hand...This machine is the best, it does a dry and wet p/u with a cleaner designated for wood floor and laminate cleaning...I pull it out like a vacuum cleaner...Trust me, you will be sooooo happy you invested in it...;)

Beautful! I love the dark color and think it was the perfect choice. Now, tell me because I probably missed it.... are these laminate? If so, do you know what to clean them with to prevent streaking? Only reason I ask is because it seems I tried everything under the sun for our laminate floors and finally found the perfect thing and try to tell everyone I know! ;)
