Food.
For us, for our kids and for the food bank where DH works. It was fun!!!

The only other thing was that we bought SIL a new grill for Father's Day. They have all of the family get together's now (instead of me) and he needed a new grill.

We didn't get very much on our check. We used it for bills, I know it's not stimulating anything, LOL I look at it as it will help me buy in the future. :D

Ims till waiting on mine. I had to buy a new sewing machine last week and that check really would have come in handy! :rolleyes:

I know, mine came at the perfect timing...we had our eye appts., had to get two pair of glasses, had our dentist appts. (with mine being an ongoing dentist appt):cool:. So, mine was spent on health....how about you?

Mine wasnt big enough to stimulate a run to a convience store on superbowl sunday:rolleyes:

Mine went to the VET. One of those cases where a "free" puppy ended up costing a small fortune in vet bills, etc.

He was worth it though! Wouldn't trade him for all that money back plus some. :)

We bought a 36" flatscreen TV. It's an LCD. My husband said it was better then plasma. He's been wanting one for a while. So I let him pick it out.

I won't be getting one. :( But my boyfriend should in the next week or so! Yay! But his is no where near the full/highest amount. Instead his will cover parts of food and rent as our week vacation this summer is going to be an unpaid one for him. Thanks Uncle Sam for paying for the vacation!

I think I am buying a new stove.....
We pretty much got all our taxes at the same time. We bought a new bed, an x-box, a DS, (for me):D, and I'm needing a new stove.....the rest is in the bank..;)

I am still waiting on mine, when it comes it will go straight to a bill collector! :eek:

DH spent 1/2 of his on groceries, so that stimulated the economy I suppose. Don't ask me where the other 1/2 went lol, I don't even want to know! :rolleyes:

I stand corrected. It is an LCD. I looked at so many I left it up to my
SIL who is the expert. Sorry for the mixup. Do I know?
I"ll probably have to go back to school to learn how to turn the darn

We should be getting ours this week or next because we got our letter saying how much we was going to get :thumbup: but basically we are going to put it in the bank and save up a little more money then pay out our debt by summer's end :thumbup: :)

DITTO!!! get LCD!!! what I have heard about plasmas is that if left on too long on the same channel if the channel has something like nbc at the bottom of the screen it will burn into the screen... sooooooooooo imho LCD is THE BEST!!! :);)

Well, it was a joint check, so I bought clothes, we used part of it for Disney World spending money and bought a lift kit for our FJ Cruiser. :)

I saved half and spent the rest on laser tattoo removal! Well worth it! Getting stimulated was awesome I hope it helps the people that really need it, and our economy!

Everybody bought something small and the rest went into savings ... you never know when something is coming up ....

Mine went to a little shopping for me and Lily.:).. and then some to have in the bank in case something comes up and im going to take Lily to the vet to get her up to date on everything ...im sure that will be pricey....My boyfriend used his on some shopping and bills ...i heard there might be a 2nd stimulus check coming?? has anyone else heard that??:confused:
