| Red Robin... oh no... Tonight my boyfriend and i went to Red Robin because a guy that came into starbucks today while i was working gave me a 10 dollar gift card . I was excited because i have seen the commercials and it looks so good. I dont usually eat red meat but decided to try a regular burger instead of the turkey. It was good, i ate less than half tho. On the way home i got a stomach ache and decided to nap and sleep it off. It didnt work! I woke up and my stomach was so upset... i dont know if it was me or the burger. Has anyone else had a bad experience at Red Robin? My boyfriend is fine... i am still recovering!

Perhaps it had something to do with not being used to eating red meat. Maybe your system just couldn't take it. Hope you feel better soon. | |

| I love Red Robin. I'm like you...don't normally eat burgers but every now & then I get a craving for 1, like a whopper or something, so I get one...but then I pay for it afterwards...it's so good going down though & I get my fix . It's probably like sammiz said, just that you're bodies not used to digesting the red meat. I love the fried chix sandwich from Red Robin....so tender and juicy & so so good.. Also their salads are yummy!

| Its probably just b/c you don't normally eat red meat. I know several years ago when I cut out all meat except poultry for several months, when I did go back to red meat it took me several meals until i could eat it without getting an upset stomach.

| Beef is really hard to digest even if you're used to it. It sits in you colon forever too (and rots- ick)- I'd just stick with avoiding it.

| Also in Texas we have no tomatoes in grocery stores or restaurants. To the OP, I def think it is bc your body is not used to eating red meat, so it probably is just having trouble digesting it.

| Your pain is from not being use to eating red meat. Anyone that goes a month or more without eating meat will have this reaction. If you "really" want a great appetizer, get their Spinach artichoke dip. OH MAN!!! WAY better than the one served at Applebees!!! We always get that and one Santal Fe Chicken Salad. Tell the wait person to split the salad for both of you. It's HUGE!!! Applebee's® Store Finder |

| My daughter has gotten sick from there before. We recently have discovered though that she is lactose intolerant. However, she has a very sensative stomache and sometimes the seasoning/spices that is in a food will give both her and I an instant tummy ache.

| Mmmm, I love Red Robin. I get the bleu ribbon burger(and I don't really even like hamburgers but I adore this one) and freckled lemonade. Now I need to go this weekend!

| I love Red Robin, I would agree with others though, it is likely the red meat was the culprit. When you are not used to eating it, wow it can sure upset your tummy. SO not them, red meat...yeah!
