What kind of person are you? Numbers or words?
 
I am, for the most part, a word person. I am an avid reader and absolutely love libraries and book stores.

I am passionate about word games: cryptograms, anagrams, jumbles, crosswords, etc. Numbers games just don't jazz me although I do some Soduko.

How about you? Which do you prefer?

I am a numbers person. I'm always doing some kind of calculation in my head!
Being an engineer I get to use numbers all day:) Until it gets to writing proposals at work! then I really have to put my thinking cap on:)

I'm a word person also. I love crosswords and reading books. I do like Sodukos though.

Oddly enough, I'm equally great at both. I have a natural inclination for numbers, but words were always mom's thing so I have always done crossword puzzles and other word games with her. I scored a 1450 on the SAT *back before they had an essay portion) and my math was only 10 pts higher than my verbal.

I like both. I love to do word puzzles...but, I've always got some calculations going on in my head, too! :D

Words here as well. I can actually read a 700 page book in under 5 hours, my husband thinks it is crazy, and no it is not speed reading. I just read fast, love it. I am also into writing

Words for me..I love to read and word games/puzzles. Numbers and me don't mix well at all! I have always found numbers difficult!:(

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I have been jokingly told that I don't read books, I devour them. :rolleyes: It's true, I guess. I am a fast reader and find it difficult to disengage. It has annoyed many people in my life.

I like to write, too. I also write annoying little poems. Well...funny...to me. :p

AND....The newspaper crossword is MINE! Some only realize that when they take the puzzle. They only do it once. My husband used to get it and put the goofiest answers in and 'make' it work. He leaves it alone now. He has found it is necessary for his safety to do so. :D I don't have to worry about the cryptograms. Nobody else wants them.

I'm not sure I fit either category. I am more of a picture or visual person. I am attracted by colors, shapes and images. I do read a lot though, but I'm finding myself more attracted to artwork lately, so I don't know. :confused:

I like spatial puzzles as well. What piece goes here or there.

Me too! I guess that's why I took interior design in college. But I do love to read! Haven't had much of a chance the last few years, though with how busy I have been.
