John Stamos :p He's still as hot today as he was.. 20 years ago when I met him. |
Only two famous encounters for me:) First one I met John Travolta on the set of Urban Cowboy at Gilleys Nightclub in Pasenda, Texas (lived there in the late 70's and early 80's) 2nd one. I DANCED with Dan Ackroyd at Phillys nightclub in 1986!! (Minnesota) I was young and intoxicated and crazy at the time. He stopped in to sing a few sets with Lamont Cranston Band. A friend dared me to go up to him and give him my cycling glasses (remember the two "WIld and Crazy guys skit?) and he wore them while we danced and kept them, they were pink!!! LOL Oh yeah, and I called my sister from the club that night and said "guess who I just danced with?" and told her and she said "yeah right, whatever, you're drunk"!! LOL and the following Monday in our local newspaper they had a review of his set with the band and she about fell over!!! HAhA |

That's so funny! I just assumed he did because he speaks at Temple at least once or twice a semester. I've also seen him do a lot of press where he is wearing Temple hats, sweatshirts, etc. Why would you do either of those things dropped out of college?! That makes a lot of sense. ETA: Oops, I read on and it says he went back 6 years later. I wonder if he was famous by then. |

We sort of kind of 'met' Jean-Michel Jarre as they rushed us along at a autograph signing after his free outdoor RENDEZ-VOUS HOUSTON concert in 1986. It was standing room only in front of the stage, but we were the equivalent of about the 8-10th row just left of center. He's pretty big in Europe. The music doesn't really start until about the 4:30 mark - |

I so jealous of all of you and your big long lists of famous people! Sometimes I wish I was somewhere other than the middle of Kansas:rolleyes: I DID just recently meet someone though and I have to say it wasn't a very pleasant experience! Last weekend, I was at work (a grocery store) and man stopped me and asked where the ice was. I looked up and it was BILL MURRAY! (His brother lives here in Manhattan) I ran upstairs and told the store assistant manager (Rod) that Bill Murray was in the store. Rod got all excited and flew downstairs to see him. He walked up to him, reached out to shake his hand and asked him if he was Bill Murray. Bill looked at Rod, smirked, and said "Well, it looks like someone took their stupid pill this morning!" Rod was so embarrassed he didn't know what to do so he says that he knew his brother lives in town, but he didn't know what he looks like, so he's never been able to talk to him. Bill replied "Maybe you need to do a little research then!" and then he walked off. |
Steven Tyler- I have actually seen 2 movies with him (well in the same theater). I see him EVERYWHERE cause he only lives 2 towns away from me. Kevin James- He is currently shooting a new movie at my local mall. Hes playing a mall cop at Christmas time. Adam Sandler- Also shooting the movie. Ken Casey (Dropkick Murphys) Fred Smerlas- Friend of the Family Jim Luscinski- Friend of the family Joel Madden (Good Charlotte) Amy Lee (Evanescence) Sully from Godsmack The Mighty Mighty Bosstones Paul Stewart (Former Bruins Ref. )- my moms cousin Mo Vaughn- My mom was the PI on his drunk driving case when he played for the Sox Buddy- Bill Clinton's dog. He doesnt like his picture taken lol. ...I think thats it |

I drove down from NH to ask him about Gilda Radner---she was my hero and they worked together and were together for a time. I was stupid nervous. Not about meeting him, but about asking the q---maybe it was intrusive and stupid. let's save some time and link to my blog: I can explain... Oh, I have to tell you this story. A friend of mine saw all of the Rolling Stones in a restaurant having dinner. She could not pass up the opportunity. She apologised and asked them all for their autographs. She said THEY COULD NOT HAVE BEEN NICER.....They were so kind and happy to talk with her. I have always loved them since hearing that. |
