What in the world was with that ending?? Something obviously happens to Mike. I was not too thrilled with the two hour finale. It was kinda boring all through out and then really really weird at the end.

The ending was very weird! I'm just glad that they finally revealed what happened to Dylan.

THe girls did look older than 5, maybe Gabby and Carlos adopted them?

When they showed Susan coming into the house, she hugged/or kissed some other guy that wasn't Mike. ??!! The whole ending was sooo weird.....could they make it be a dream sequence or something???

I think what will happen is that next season will be a flashback to how they got to that point--kind of a teaser. I really don't like how Mike's character has degraded, and he started out so interesting with lots of secrets, and now he's just boring.

That was one crazy ending (even for Desperate Housewives, LOL). This 5 years later thing is so nuts. Was it just me or did Gabby seem so differen't? She was definately not her normal looking glitzy self, haha. Wonder whats going to happen to Mike? Geez, I hate these cliff hangers. :rolleyes:

If anyone knows when it will air again...please post loud and clear, better yet...PM me so I won't miss it!! I didn't realize it was the 2-hour finale and turned it off at 10. I missed the last hour...darn!!!

I agree with the Mike degraded comment. It's almost like he's non-existing already. He was such an interesting character on the show. They really didn't have Evie on either, did they? For that I'm happy, as I really didn't like her character.

Abby with no make up and looking run down cracked me up. Yep, that's what having kids can do...(mind you I have twins - ha).

I'm also glad they got rid of the psycho kid. She frieked me out. Poor Lynette...can they do anymore to that woman? At least her hair had grown out and she wasn't wearing a wig 5 years later.

The show seems to loose a bit of it's chemestry every year for me, which dissapoints me, as I really liked the show. I don't like the direction they incinuated at the end of the show.

I hope so cuz i think the show will go down hill if they jump 5 years.

I don't know why everyone didn't like the 2 hour finale. I think it was good. The only thing I didn't like is that they told the story behind Dylan which always made me watch to see what happens. I'm wondering where they're going with this. I hope they don't lose their edge next season.

When they showed Mary Alice in that flashback clip, I thought for sure it was going to be more about the secrets she had had, and remember the dead girl in the toybox years ago...I thought they were going to bring that kind of stuff up--and the stuff with Mike and a flashback of one of some woman--was it Katharine? I thought they were going to piece more of it together.

I liked the finale.

BTW, I took the quiz on the website, and I'm a Lynette :)

Go to abc.com and you can watch it....click on full episodes and then choose Desperate Housewives!

I LOVED it! And wasn't the guy that Susan came home to, Kathryn's ex, the one who got beaten up by her first ex (psycho policeman?). And when they showed when Dylan called her mom to tell her about Paris and being proposed to, Kathryn was alone. I thought she and her ex (the ob/gyn) were going to get back together, but now....it sure looked like him in Susan's house! I'm excited to see where they're going to go with this and what happened to Mike...I'm sure Edie will make a comeback.
And yeah....Gabby is a total boring housewife and I'm sorry, but that one chubby girl looks NOTHING like she or Carlos, LOL. I can't believe she'd let herself go that way:eek:.

Edie took off a couple of weeks ago, b/c all the girls said they didn't want to be friends with her anymore. She sold her house and packed her car up and took off to (I think) her nephew's (not sure about that exactly)...I have a feeling she'll be back at some point.

Here's what I'm thinking about Gabby and the kids. Remember that they had hired that surrogate? Maybe the clinic had gotten things switched, and their child turns up later...either that, or, Carlos has a love child that comes around.

I LOVED last nights season finale. It cleared up a lot of little secrets, ESPECIALLY Katherine's. I'd been dying to know what was going on with Dylan. I can't wait till next season..hehe..Kind of sad about Mike, but I bet he went back to drugs and Susan dumped his sorry butt :p
