Sims 2 anyone? I was wondering if any other YT'ers are SIMS fans. I'm obsessed with the game, :crazy: |
Loved the first part. Now my girls are a bit bigger and stuck on Part 2... You know Part 3 will be released next year early.....I read it somewhere. |
It's true! This is the site www.thesims3.ea.com I'm planning on getting it when it comes out for mac but first I wanna get a desktop because my laptop can't handle two sims games at once. The graphics look simpler but I think this will make the game run more smoothly. Plus, if you read all the things you can do it's amazing! You can walk to people's houses, around town, and each sim has a truly unique personality. By the time it's ported to the MAC format I will have my desktop so I can't wait :D:D:D:D |

My kids also have the Sims 2 pets and Sims 2 Castaway and the Sims 2 little folks for the wii...think they love some sims. They play off of a desktop that they do nothing but sims on it. I just got them the seasons and the kitchen add on. |
I wanted to get the Seasons EP but I decided against it since the SIMS 3 is coming out I wanna save my money for that, cause most likely I won't be playing my SIMS 2 as much ne more |

I had the first one loved it but i lost it.. i have the sims pets for ds.. dont really like it that much.... but havent really dedicated the time to it.. has anyone tried the sims 2 ds version? |

I have, it's pretty fun, I prefer "URBZ" though, it's much more fun for the DS. There's nothing like the computer version though. If you have a playstation 2 you can play get a sims game which is very similar to the sims 1 for PC. It's cheap too like $20. My daughter(20 yrs) is a Sims addict....She just bought Sims2...Double Deluxe.... But for whatever reason, we can't get it to download on my comp.....So she ordered a new comp just for her Sims games....Go figure..lol Joyce |

Have all up to Seasons, but havent played in a while as my brats dont leave me alone, but love building houses and decorating them ;) |
Maybe one of you can help me out. My game keeps freezing either while I'm creating a family or just after and it's loading the family. It runs fine if I'm playing one of the families that are already programmed in and in a house. It's rather upsetting. v.v I've downloaded and run all of the patches, but it's just not working. |

Certified addict here. I had the original Sims and all the expansions. Got Sims 2 the day it came out. Sold all my originals because they didn't compare. Have every single expansion pack on 2 as well, always get them the day they come out. ;) Already pre-ordered Sims 3. I have 2 computers now thank goodness (yay Christmas), so Sims 2 staying on the desktop, Sims 3 going on the laptop. I pre-ordered the special edition. Oh and, I've played all the Sims games on PS2, Wii, DS, etc. plus MySims. None of them even come close to comparing with the PC version. It's a world all its own. There are no "goals" per se like the game console versions, so it's just free will and alot more options, add ons, etc. When I play I'm in another world, been known to do it straight for 2 days (well used to in college anyways). Now I try to limit it to once a week or so...but when I do it it's for at least 8-12 hours at a time. I'm a true blue fan, been there since the beginning. On the little trivia game during the load screen on Sims 2 I know all the answers. Sad, isn't it? :rolleyes: |

OMG i love the Sims 2 iv told my self im not aloud the sims3 :( Iv banned myself from the sims2 for health problems as once im on it u cant get me off! must be damagin for my neck and eyes :eek: I do wonder if im 2 old for it as im now 21 but sod it ! |

I love the Sims. I just don't have time to play it very often. Actually, I don't like to play it at all, I like to watch my husband play it and tell him what to make the people do. (He humors me.:rolleyes:) I love when the Sims start talking in that jibberish. After a while, we started picking up on the repeating snippets and phrases and would start saying them to each other. :p My favorite is when your roommate "Boos" you when you play guitar. |
I love Sims 2. I have all the expansions for the game and some stuff packs. I cannot wait for Sims 3 too. I want to play the seamless community and Render Girl. Isn't downloading custom content addicting. |
