I know English and Italian...A lil spanish curse words LOL!! But thats it |
Tagalog, Visayan, a bit of Spanish, a bit of Cantonese and English-- This is a regional thing in the Philippines. Tagalog is the national language. Since there are over 100 languages in my country, most Filipinos communicate in Tagalog and often times in English(We're the only Asian country who have English as an Academic Subject). I speak both fluently(Tagalog and Visayan and I pride myself for that even though I've been practicaly raised here). It's influenced with alot of the Spanish words since the country was under the colonization of Spain for 300 years. My husband is Chinese and he's been teaching me Cantonese. I think it's the hardest language to learn. |
You can speak hebrew? Wow. I speak English.... I almost minored in German in college, so can speak a lot but it's fading. My mom lived in Taiwan for a while before I was born and so raised me speaking Chinese (mandarin) I'm by all means not fluent but I can understand more than I can speak myself. I love languages though, they're fascinating. I majored in Communications in college, but my career now is communicating in English in our local newspaper, haha. I don't think anyone in East Tennessee is interested in reading news stories in broken German. And I can write only two words in Chinese...so that's a no-go. |

I Speak English And Espanol :D :p |
I'm minoring in Spanish, but I have taken it forever so I'm getting much better at it. My grammar is great, it's my vocab that's lacking! And english of course! |
I speak English, Spanish and some French. I took French so long ago that I have forgotten a lot of it. |
I speak: English, Assyrian, Persian, Spanish, and can somewhat understand German (broken). |
woa u also no alot of languages |
Just english but can curse in Italian! :D |
Languages I of course speak english, and hillbilly(I am from kentucky) lol and I am almost fluent in spanish, seeing as how I have been married for almost 5 years to a native spanish speaker he is from Ecuador, we met while we were at Purdue for college(he also speaks english!). I haved lived here in South Florida for 2 years now so spanish is a must on a daily basis so slowly but surely it is becoming easier!!! ;) |
English, obviously... And I speak enough French that the people in Paris didn't hate me when I was there in February :yelrotflm |
I speak french (I'm french...not from France, but from New Brunswick Canada :) and of course I also speak english and I'm also at a level three Spanish. Canada is bilingual country(english and french). Oh, and I also speak "Chiac", he he, I don't expect you to understand that word. It's more Acadian, we mix french and english together. For example : As-tu parker le car dans la driveway? Meaning : Did you park the car in the driveway? We use english verbs, but end them in "er" to make it into a french word. Ahhhh, don't ask. That's why alot of people who know very little french can still understand me when I talk because of all the english words that come out :) But of course when I went to France, I couldn't talk like that cuz they wouldn't have understood me. We took Spanish lessons before my husband and I went for our honeymoon in Spain. We managed pretty well because spanish is somewhat close to french. |
I'm Cambodian-American (Cambodian parents but born and raised here in USA) I speak English and Khmer. Unfortuately I can't read or write in my native language but I can communicate well with adults which is pretty good for an 'American' as I'm called by 'old' folk. I frequented Montreal, Canada most of my life so I know a few words of french and the whole Alphabet which is very easy and sililar to the english alphabet but too bad I flunked french in high school. I can swear in Spanish, Veitnamese, Laos and Italian. You guys must think swear like a pirate but I seldom use the curses, they're just a few words I've picked up throughout my life. :D |
English and some Italian. I also know a lot of curse words in Spanish! LOL :D |
I thought I spoke French... Quote:

Danish (of course), english (school), spanish (learned in Mexico and Guatemala in 1990), german (school), swedish, norweigan - the last 2 because we have so many turists from Norway and Sweden and we have TV channels in those languages too. Once I started studying russian, but then I met a man...and you all know what that does to you...hehe.... Oh yes - and I can say Wo oi ni - I don't know if the spelling is right, but it should be chinese for "I love you" I can say "assiwakitkissawitammasuk", that is greenlandish, but far to naughty to translate in a public forum. |
