IRS Timetable for Rebate Payments

Here’s the government’s plan for making the economic stimulus payments for taxpayers whose 2007 returns are filed and processed by April 15:

DIRECT DEPOSIT PAYMENTS
If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Your rebate should be sent to your bank account by:
00 - 20 May 2
21 - 75 May 9
76 - 99 May 16

PAPER CHECK
If the last two digits of your Social Security number are: Your check should be in the mail by:
00 - 09 May 16
10 - 18 May 23
19 - 25 May 30
26 - 38 June 6
39 - 51 June 13
52 - 63 June 20
64 - 75 June 27
76 - 87 July 4
88 - 99 July 11

This may sound like a dumb question but who deceided weather it
would be direct deposit or paper check? I don't remember signing anything!

I am excited about getting mine as well. This will be the first year in a long time that I can use my return money for fun and not a past due CC bill.

It will come to you however you had your regular tax refund sent. If you had it direct deposited, it will be direct deposited, it you had a check sent in the mail, that's how you'll get the rebate. Hope that helps

Maybe it's based on how you filed? Like if you opted for direct deposit on your reg taxes?

Ours should hit 5/9! We have major landscape and yard stuff that we have been waiting to do with this check. I'm so excited about this one since our tax return had to be spent on property taxes! Ugh!

we will get our around may 23,we were going to keep our money for christmas gifts BUT we change our mind we are going to get a new puppy

and a new set of forearm crutches, since my last sugery my walking has taken a turn for the worse. Hopefully I'll get caught up and can graduate with my husband in May 2010. Tyty

do anybody know what type of direct deposit is it? I have my bank direct deposit and then my hrblock account direct deposit.

It should be whichever account your tax refund check was direct deposited into.
