Did you guys feel that? I live in Nevada and we keep having small earth quakes and had another just a few minutes ago, I just wanted to share.... |
so we have had 10 small quakes in the last 50 minutes, is it working up to something? |
Oh I hope not, please stay safe..... |
oh honey, stay safe.. |
are you in reno? i'm in carson, didn't feel anything. |
I just felt a little rumble under my feet but my 102 year old grandmother is just 15 minutes from me and had books fall off her shelf. I'm just not too familiar with quakes so I dont know if this is working up to something or normal for earthquakes. Anyone know? |
yeah reno/sparks |
Oh my gosh, that's scary. Where in Nevada do you live? My son lives in Las Vegas. |
ok the news said in an hour span that we had 19 earthquakes the largest was 4.2 so small but... so many. I live in the reno sparks area so vegas is q good distance from us. |
Oh, my! That's a lot of quakes! I will have to call me sister. She lives in Nevada, too! Didn't you have an bigger earthquake centered near Wells in the last month or two? I hope there is nothing bigger coming! I used to live in Lake Tahoe, so I have been to the Reno/Sparks area many times. |
Keep safe! That must be scary! |
I don't remember there being that many in one span of time. Weird. |
channel 8 news here said that we had 19 one right after another. I dont know anything about earthquakes so that is why I was asking. I know that we have had other small ones around but not so many in such a short time period. |
That's a lot of aftershocks. Stay safe and thanks for the location information. I'm gonna call my son to see if he felt anything, even though he's far away from you. |
ok were up to 26 today! Mojo turn on the news so you don't think I'm crazy! LOL |

You can go here for subsequent updates and you can also subscribe for alerts. Here is the detail page: Magnitude 4.2 - NEVADA Living in California, I always want to know about earthquakes and where they are happening. It seems that we have them in running episodes. Some months ago, we were having about ten a week. |
Hey better yet, If we get a really big one and its on your local news, you will know who I am, just watch for the crazy lady with her arms full of yorkies running down the street! |

Well...I don't think the aftershocks qualify as an 'earthquake'....they are the result of the earthquake. Although....they surely have magnitudes also. |
