Candle Scents
 

Well im a little bored and decided to light some candles and relax...which got me thinking...What kind of scents does everyone like? I like vanilla, strawberry, cinnamon stick (like Bath n body works wallflower scent), black cherry (walmart has it), and many other scents! I am a candle lover!! Lol. My very favorite right now which happens to be what I decided to burn right now is Vanilla Caramel...it is a yankee candle and ooo it smells sooo good!!! So!...what kind of scents do yall like??? :animal36

I love anything that smells like something baking.. But the downside is it makes me crave what ever the smell is. Last night I had a chocolate chip cooking candle burning and all I could think about was cookies.

ohhh i love vanilla, hazelnut coffee, some fruity-strawberry scents. I have found an amazing scents at bath and body works. I have an oil burner and use their fresh linen and an aromatherapy--stress relief (mint something). that is amazing if you are just relaxing. I think they have it in candles too!!! :D

I love candles too!!! generally I don't like vanilla and baking scents, but I do like fruty and flower scents

I prefer fruit smells.. especially citrus ones. I also like holiday scents like pumpkin, pine, cedar, etc.

I hate odd, artificial smells.. like Ocean Breeze, Fresh Linens, etc. Usually the ones with the funky names. :p

I'm a total candle ho!

My favorites are... Wal-mart apricot mango, yankee: macintosh, sage and citrus, fresh linen, pear and vanilla bean, harvest..... I could go on and on.

I like vanilla too but the cheap glade ones I buy just came out with a Lavender and Vanilla scent and it is now my new FAV!! :D

Lavender and any smell that makes you think of the Far East so spicy, exotic and musky.

I love the ones that make my house smell like I'm baking something. It's much less fattening!

I love clean smells, cinnamon smells, and fruit smells. :)

Oh Yankee candles are the best! I love their ocean breeze/mist one. My mom always has a mulberry candle burning at home. I like vanilla and cinnamon ones too, they remind me of my Grandma's house.

my absolute favorite by yankee is the Midsummer Nights (smells like a sexy man to me LOL).

some of my favorite random scents include some kind of fresh or garden cucumber (not the cucumber melon...just plain cucumber)

I also really enjoy the garden strawberry from yankee :D

I love citrus and clean easy scents... my fav(cant remember the name) is the light blue yankee... I have ocean breeze right now and it doesnt smell like anything to me...

I really like to light the candle (I have 3 large ones in my bedroom) and shut the bedroom door. come back a bit later, open the door...and I would almost swear that is what it would smell like if Keith Urban was sleeping in my bed LOL

I love the lavender vanilla smell but my candle oe the mment is cherry lemoade it smels soo crisp. Does anyone know why the dont want to make apple without cinnamon? I can ony find macintosh apple from yankee, no apple smells from anyone else.

Thanks for the idea!! I just lit some of my candles and I hadnt done that in a couple weeks! I just lit my bath n body works cucumber melon.....I also used to love a candle I had called sugar cookie...but it always made me eat or hungry for sweets!! After gaining 5 pounds I had to give the candle away!!:rolleyes: But I also decided I am going to write the Tide detergent people and ask them to make candles because I just LOVE the smell of my fresh Tide laundry!! My nieces n nephews think Im a wierdo cuz I can just sit and smell my fresh clothes and be so happy!! So maybe if I found a scent like that in a candle I wont look so wierd sniffing my clothes all day!! ;)

I like the vanilla scents the best, I think.... and the Fresh Linen ones.... but I can certainly handle any nice smell in my house! LOL!

I have a yankee candle that smells like fresh apples, granny smith. It is my husbands favorite.

The Iced Tea one that Yankee used to have always made me think of summer days in the sun. Why did they have to do away with that one.:(

Tanksmom try the Granny Smith apple from Yankee, it doesn't have any cinnamon in the smell, just fresh crisp apple.

Oooo I bet Iced Tea would be nice!! Yea...I dunno what it is but everytime I find something I really really like..they discontinue it! I hate discontinuers!! Lol..they take my stuff away!!! lol :p

I use to work at a candle factoy Candl-Lite. I use to make the candles that are at wall-marts.
I have a friend on the internet that makes them in her home and buy those now. I love lots of scents mostly van. I bought a lot of her tarts and candles for christmas and gave them out as gifts. heres her website if you want to check it out. shes a sweet lady and does this to bring in extra money.

I love candles, I prefer scents that smell like food, but I love all kinds of candles!
I love butter/or sugar cookie scents, vanilla, cinnamon buns, hazelnut, buttercream. I could go on forever!! I also have a ton of candle toppers!

My favorite is Yankee Macintosh apple. I also really like the Home Interior "Bobbing for Apples", it is a 3 layer apple scent-yellow, red and green.
