| Oh my gosh that is scary! Do you have an opening big enough for a person to get up in your attic from the outside? If so maybe your husband can secure it with bars.

| Yikes! I hear the pitter patter of little squirrelly feet in my rafters all the time, and birds, and mice, but never big foot steps. I have listened to the squirrels throwing walnuts at the roof and they roll down and hit the gutters. Lots of strange noises, but to hear someone walking in my attic would send me scurrying out the door as fast as my feet could carry me. I'm glad they found nothing and really hope it was just something fluky that sounded like foot steps. I am impressed by the response you got, tho. I don't think we have that many total on our police force.

| Could be a ghost or a polergist bumping around up there I am so very sorry you were frightened. I hope that whoever or whatever it was doesn't show up again. |

| This is the time of year when houses are thawing out so to speak and all the wood is expanding and making noises. I hear things in our attic and it even makes the dogs bark, but believe me, there is no one in there. If you really believe there is a haunting, maybe you could find a team to check it out! |

| just so you all know... I have NEVER been one to "cry wolf" and another thing that made me belive that it could have been someone... my husband and I have been closing the door to the room upstairs and we would push on the door to make sure it was shut tight and wouldnt just open on its on... but it keeps opening on its own... creepy! my husband says its got to be 1 of 3 things.. 1. there really was someone up there... 2. a cat or 3. a gohst lol who knows....

When I was in my 20's, I did live in a house that we truly believed had a ghost. Things moving, doors opening, lights on and off. But he was friendly and helpful. One night, after forgetting to turn the porch light on before we left, it simply turned on as we were pulling up, right before our eyes. So, if it's #3, he's probably friendly. Better that than #1 in my opinion. It's so scary though. Please be alert.......

| OMGosh. You said you were house sitting for your in-laws. Next time you talk to them, ask them if the've ever experienced anything like those 2 things you talked about. That is really weird. I hope you don't hear it again.
