Missing someone...

I can't believe you just posted this. I have been going through the very same thing for the past two days - and I have no business missing them either not to mention it's been 4 years since we last spoke and I am happily married. I took out my IPod yesterday and the music started it for me

What I do know, as this isn't the first time, is that it will pass as it always does. I've learned to just let myself feel it. Some people leave a heavier footprint on our lives than others.

I have a question, would you guys think that it is a sign of still loving this person? I know that you always remember people that come into your life but do you think its a sign that you still love them and they were in fact your true love? I guess I ask because when you analyze it..why would that person keep popping up in your thoughts? IDK just wanna hear everyones take on it.

I can't say that I was in LOVE with this person...but I loved everything about them. They were funny, smart, easy to talk to and GOOD looking!!!!

Love is such a strong word...not meant to be spread around like margarin on a piece of bread. I've only fallen in TRUE love a handful of times...or less than a handful, but you get what I'm saying.

Like my ex-finace...though we were together 3 years, the love didn't last...so was it true love? I really don't know.

There is one ex that I thought that I loved...and maybe I really did. It took me 5 years before I stopped thinking about him on a daily basis. Do you really ever get over love? Or do you move on from it and wonder (like I do) if it was ever real.

Honestly, Im 30 years old and feel that while I had a few relationships before I got married, my husband is the first man that I have been IN love with. yes I cared about my ex's and we made memories and I did love them but I wasnt IN love with them, does that make any sense? I cared about them and wanted nothing but the best for them but I wasnt in love with them. when I think of living my life without my husband I get this sick feeling. He is my other half, my best friend. what him and I share is so different than anything I have ever experienced. I know that when you are dating someone and they break your heart you feel the same way I have described i feel when thinking of living my life without my hubby so does that mean that you are in love with every man that breaks your heart? no, but when time passes and you still think of this person and long to be with them and try to find them I would say that is love. I believe at one point or another we all take a trip down memory lane but when you keep going back to that one person...to me I feel it must be special and might very well be love.
