what self tanners do you recommend? I look washed out in this color that I am wearing in the wedding so I am thinking of doing a self tanning thing...but have never used one before. Are there any really good ones out there???

I use bare mineral makeup and their faux tanner is supposed to be really good. You can go to their website: bareescentuals.com (I think). I really like their make up and I can honestly recommend that side of it. Good luck!

yeah, I use the makeup too. I will talk to the lady at the spa I go to about the tanner. I didn't know they made one!!!!

They're not too bad...itll set you back about $30 or so. I would recommend it as well especially if you have never used tanning lotions. However..Jergen's "Natural glow" is pretty fool-proof. It will give you a hint of color and you can't really mess it up!

I look at it this way, I'd rather have someone who knows what they are doing make me look like the Hot pregnant chick, rather than do it myself end end up looking like an umpalompa from willy wonka. Ewmember the pictures are forever.

you could always you a body lotion type "bronzer" you know the ones that just give you a hint of color but are also lotions

I agree! Do the air brush - it is worth it - in my area it is about $30, but someone sprays it on you so it is perfect and it looks real

Yes, do the airbrush; the booth ones are weird; you have to turn this way and that, hold your arms up here, over there and then if you don't do it just right (and there's nobody to tell you while you're in there), it will be all streaky and darker in some areas.
I know people who have their own spray tanning things and they just stand in their shower and have someone spray it on, but I don't know how much they cost. It might be worth it if you want to do it every now and then as opposed to just once.

The tanning lotions have always left me streaky and some of them give you orange tones
