OMG you guys do you know who Tyra is in real life? Her name is Eva Pigford and she was America's Top Model Cycle 3 (2004). I happened to be watching some old ATMs this weekend and saw her. She was a total you know what on that show so I wonder what made her change to acting?:eek::eek::eek: I hate that they made Neil a cheater but now he has Tyra (Eva).:(

Ok, is anyone else as upset as me that Y&R writers, or should I say DAYS writers, are bringing someone back from the dead??? Everyone did recognize the person on the phone with Cane right? Its Phillip, Nina's husband, the son Jill thought was hers!!

I remember he died in a drunk driving accident, there wasn't anything suspicious about his death was there? There was a body, he did get buried...right?

OMG I almost fell over when I saw Phillip..how in the world are they going to explain this one??? How did Cane hook up with Phillip and what are they up too? I feel so sorry for Lilly as she always gets the shaft.

I really thought they would bring back Dru for sure...those Days writers...if you watch Days bringing people back from the dead is norm for them.:(

Yeah, I don't know how they are going to explain the whole Phillip/Cane relationship. I can see them bringing back Dru, since there was never a body, but Phillip??? I wouldn't be upset if they brought back Dru, actually I welcome it so Tyra can get what's coming to her!! I don't like Tyra at all.

I don't know why Adam is being so mean to Ashley, she's always been so nice to him. If it weren't for her he'd still be in jail and Heather definitely wouldn't be allowed there.

As far as Phillip goes...the only thing that would make sense is that he is back to play his son and they look exactly alike. I wondered this the other day when Nina was congratulating Lily and Cane and Cane said he was looking forward to meeting her son. Made me wonder??? Whatever happens it will be interesting.

I had a dream it was 2009. I saw Y&R today and Nina was there and Raul, and Mac, Billy, so it must be a different year .LOL.

This is a stupid but confusing story line(s) Yes, Poor Lilly, but maybe he loves her and isn't part of his plan. I thin Humphrey will be talked about and not seen much....like Sapato. Nick and Sharon. she just tells P. she isn't after Nick and then tells him she is pregnant not 30 mins later. she didn't need to tell him that. They Will be together before July 4th I predict.

Yep, it's been a long time with all of them together. Y&R is very confusing right now. For some reason, might have been all the questions Nina had about Cane, but I have a feeling she knows more than she's telling. Bringing her back at the same time Phillip shows up is kind of odd. Who knows where that will go.

And Mary Jane, who is she????? Could she be Jacks old love Jill????

Even if you change your face, you still have the same voice. Wouldn't you notice the mannerisms are the same and I know Sharons' voice even if I am not looking at the screen.....Amber, etc. They have Kyle, a son together Paul will get to the bottom of it.Good ol Paul, is always the same nice guy.

Chris Engen quits Y&R in reported gay story protest

The Young and the Restless is dealing with the sudden departure of yet another of its stars. In the latest surprise exit, Chris Engen has allegedly walked out in protest over an upcoming same-sex storyline. The actor joined the cast of Y&R just over a year ago.


The cast and crew of The Young and the Restless is reeling over the walkout of yet another of its stars. Chris Engen (Adam Wilson) made the sudden decision to quit the show in protest over an upcoming storyline… a storyline that involves a same-sex kiss.


Engen is said to have picked up the latest show script and learned through reviewing his lines that his character was going to be getting intimate with attorney Rafe Torres (Yani Gellman). Months of frustration over the direction of his storyline and lack of airtime exploded in a confrontation between Engen and the show's production team. According to sources, Engen has long felt that the writing for Adam was going in the wrong direction. For Gellman's decidedly different take on the storyline, click here.


Setside sources told TVGuide Canada, "Chris hasn't been happy for a while. He doesn't like the dark direction his character is taking. He's called in sick a lot recently and has been taking a slew of meetings with Y&R's [executives] to discuss his future on the show."


Although Engen is well-known for keeping his personal life separate from his career, some are wondering if his personal beliefs may conflict with his character's storyline. The 29-year-old Engen is a graduate of Bishop Montgomery High School, a Catholic school in his hometown of Torrance, California. The school's mission statement reads, in part, "We serve the needs of the Church and the larger community by providing intellectually mature persons who have learned to integrate world knowledge with Catholic beliefs and values."


"Chris is still under contract," sources continue, and the show is mulling the pros and cons of taking legal action against the actor.


Engen made his first on-screen appearance on February 12, 2008. Meanwhile, TVGuide.com reports that Michael Muhney, of Veronica Mars fame, will take over the role of Adam Wilson.


Muhney is apparently very excited about his new role. In a posting on his official web site, Muhney remarked, "My first day on the set was crazy and fun and quite a wild ride. I had to hit the ground running at full speed. I think I need a new pair of shoes, but in these economic times I'll just have my shoes re-soled. I'm honored to be a part of such an iconic piece of work and I can't wait to sink my teeth into this thing."


Muhney's first air date is Thursday, June 25.

Iliked him actually, and did not like the dark turn they made with his character. It never fit wit having had Hope as his mother. No child of Hopes' would ever end up likie Adam has. I will miss the actor, and will not like or approve of gay stuff. Bringing back all the oldies is weird. Yes, It is Diane....jacks old x who has his child I think.....Kyle. I mean he is supposed to be but with story lines ya never know. So where is Kyle? And If Jill is NOT KATHERINES CHILD THEN SOMEONE ELSE IS? who? nIKKI AND pAUL, NOT RIGHT FOR EACHOTHER We all know it is Nikki and Victor and no other will do. Together, apart, together, apart........ Mac is never happy, aND DOES not LOVE RAUL.

Phyllis is devistated yet falls right into sex with jack only minutes after Nick departs. He is w/Sharon but is honest about his realization, he really loves Sharon more. They all sleep around so easily. Amazing they can remember who is who in the passion. LOL Now will P,get PG by jack? Hummmmmmm I bet Summer is jacks daughter and will get sick and blood test proves it. Musical beds............Commercial says two leaving the show and one dead? Well, it won't be Adam so is it Nikki? No one else could ever play Nikki. Or Victor ever. I hate loosing these guys!!!!

I think it's Nikki who is next to leave. She didn't want the pay cut they offered her. Last time she didn't sign until the day her contract was up.

Yea, I think she's Diane too. I don't think they will send Sharon on her way, I'm kind of tired of her story lines, but I'm pretty sure they will keep her. I think when they said there would be a loss, they are talking about Ashley's baby:(:(:(

The show is getting kind of weird, it's hard to keep up with them now. I sure miss the good old days when you could miss a week and still be right on track.

It's pretty much been proven that Mary Jane is Patty....Paul's brother. Her reaction when she walked into the coffee shop and saw Paul and his brother there together was pretty telling. Especially when Paul says, "Wouldn't it be nice to get the whole family together"

But God only knows, they can change the story line in a twinkle of an eye.

That's what I've been thinking all along...is that Mary Jane is Paul's sister. Didn't she get dumped by Jack years ago? Definitely knew it was her when she saw Paul talking to his brother in the coffee shop. She's a bit psycho!!

Well I don't know if Mary Jane is going to only focus her fury on Sharon since she saw Phyllis & Jack getting it on through the window!

I really don't like Adam's "dark" side either & agree with tapiocagirl that it's hard to see any child of Hope's being raised out on the farm in the middle of nowhere to turn into the total extreme.

But what do you think will happen with Ashley & her baby after Adam scared her so bad she went tumbling down the steps????

I can't wait til today's episode!!
