Ok then. This Topic is dieing If none of you repy soon this topic thread might die. I heard on the news we may loose soaps cuz they are not making money!!!! I would Hate loosing Y&R. They have to pay all those actors. |
Hahahaha so funny....yup you are correct that some of these soaps may be boing bye-bye if they don't cut costs since viewership is down. That's why Days is getting rid of some high-profile actors to cut $$$$. I just heard though that Days was renewed for 18 months so we are good to go with that one. I wouldn't be surprised to see more high paying actors on the other soaps bite the dust. I got hooked on soaps from a woman I used to babysit her kids. I have been watching soaps since 1966 - yikes:eek:. I will miss them if they get rid of them. But figures now that I have TIVO and TIVO them all so I can watch on the weekends.:rolleyes: |
I would MORE than miss Y&R I only really watch that. geeee, that would be very bad. Many of us would have serious witdrawls and even have to go to Y&R anonymous meetings!!!! |
No one comes here anymore? I will say this anyway. Over the Holidays I watched the original movie Sabrina. I noticed an interesting personality similarity between Billy of Y&R and The younger brother in Sabrina who was played by William Holden. Humphrey Bogart was Linus, like jack. |
Has anyone been watching recently? The last three episodes were so exciting I did not even bother to Tivo them, but watched them immediately! I have many questions, but the biggest one is, who do you think was the person that Victor brought back to town? Did I miss something? Also, why do you think the DNA was negative? |
I have been watching it every day. I have no idea who Victor was talking too. I thought maybe it is Leanna Love or Diane. I don't know. I don't see how the test was negative unless Jill did not give a swab of her DNA. I thought Ester's man might have changed the results but I don't think he did. I am glad it is finally coming out that Kane is not the father of Chloe's baby. But I don't think she is going to die. I can't wait for Ashley to find out what Victor is up to. She will not tolerate his behavior like Nikki did. |
I cannot wait until Billy tells Kane, but I have a feeling that the truth will not come out for a while and we will be left hanging. My theory on the DNA result is that perhaps Jill is NOT Katherine's daughter after all? Quote:

I agree and what about Dental records? Both of these should substantiate her story. I also think that something is going to happen to Chloe and both Billy and Lily will come to realize that the Baby is better off with Kane and will hold off telling him the truth. I don't think Jill is Kathrine's daughter. Never cared for the storyline - although they have milked it good now for a couple yrs Does anyone think they are going to kill Chloe off? Sure looks like it. I can't figure out why they sped up the Brad dying storyline and now they have fast forwarded the birth of Chloe's baby - fastest 1st labor I've ever seen & this storyline is moving at record speed for a soap opera :rolleyes: I'm ready though for the truth to come out about whose the daddy |
I don't know how the DNA test was negative. We can only guess that Jill is not Katherine's daughter, of course that would be horrible cause Billy and Mac were so in love. They had already gotten married and were on their honeymoon night when Jill bursted in and told them the news, they were both heartbroken. Billy left Genoa City, Mac stayed around for a while and then moved to Louisiana with her dad. I guess that's why Billy became a womanizer, probably scared to fall in love again. Does anyone else hate watching the scenes with the pshychotic nurse? That's a little off the deep end for me, I fast forward through those scenes. :thumbdown |

Never stopped watching Y&R Where have all of you been? I never expected you to come back? I hate the babys' name! Pa leeze! I thought it was going to be katherine. Nothing is ever what it appears in soaps so I bet Jill is not katherines daughter. That has a big effect. i think Chloe is out. I counted 6 deaths since Adam came on the scene. I don't mean he killed anyone, I mean time frame7 I forgot Walter Palen. The crazy nurse was the receptionist on Bob Newhart. Remember? Esthers'man on the old tv show with Dryfus the big dog. He was next door neighbor. Did car commercials too. See ya around. Brad was handsome. He left quickly and neatly. Boom...gone. Nickis X the bad guy is now a doc on another soap. I CAN'T WATCH HIM. Looks like Pauls' daughter is gone since adam is in jail with not much of a story line Ashley will be LIVID! Don't think we know the mystery woman. One thing for sure...Hope is truly dead. We saw her die. ya never know who has a twin, however. |

Nurse was the receptionist for the dentist in the old Bob Newhart show. She is rogers' 1st victim as you know by now. It is going to be reeeealy exciting this week according to soap magazine. The mystery woman I think is diane. But she was an interior dec not that type business.....I dunno. Chloe dying? Perhaps but I think now she marries Billy and the courts fight overt the baby with the funny name! No, I do not like the name but the baby is beautiful.:eek: |
I only thought they were going to have Chloe die when she was so sick after having the baby. I hate when they kill characters off. Why did the kill Brad off? They could have sent him somewhere else & just written him out of the script. I have been watching Y&R long before Brad showed up as the pool boy at the abbott's - but he is one of the best looking actors ever on the show I'm getting tired of the Katherine/not Katherine storyline - it's gotten a bit stupid -ready for it to be over. But I do like seeing Newhart s old receptionist - she's amusing |
Yes Bet she is having fun in that part. Forgot her real name. I hope Esther doesn't get killed off. I think contracts are up for many and Brad wanted to retire. He is handsome and I have even had a dream about him being my guy. lol Esther may want to retire too and for both, no other actor could replace them. They have to be killed off if they go. |

I have been watching this soap since I was 19. I'm now 45! I can't believe they are bring back the Katherine storyline from 20 years ago. I hated it then and I hate it now. I bet the DNA didn't match with Jill because Jill isn't her daughter. Lilly sure ran back to Cane rather fast without him being divorced. And what is up with Billy and Sharon. Too odd. Phyllis and Nick sure got over him cheating quickly. That should have played out a little longer. I just love this show. It's the best soap out there. |

Now, Kev in the trunk and Amber is the only one who knows something. It always works out. In real life I think Jeanne Cooper is 80yrs old. Looks good for her age. In the early years when she was a drunk I didn't like her. I never liked Jill. David Hasselhoff aka Snapper went to the same High school I did but I am way older. There is a plaque of him on the wall at my H, S. He turned out to be a jerk IMO. I can't believe Victor can betray Ashley after all she did for him. Is anything sacred to him? Guess not. Jack/Victor will never stop fighting. Never. I like Chloe only a little now...the baby has mellowed her some. PLEASE KEEP POSTING YOUR COMMENTS OFTEN!!!!! |
I am also sick of the Katherine storyline. Hopefully that will wrap up soon. I am hoping that Billy and Chloe take the baby and leave town. I am also sick of Kane and Lily now. I think Sharon and Billy are strange together and Jack will be really mad when he finds out. I also can't see Colleen on the Newman Board. I wonder how that will play out. I have watched the soap for many years too. My grandmother watched it. It has always been my favorite soap. |
I'm thinking the whole Sharon and Billy thing is going to be Sharon's "blackout" moments and Billy has no idea she has this problem, I think that's the way they will play it. Yes, I'm with the rest of you, I definitely DO NOT like Lily and Cane, can they just get on with their stupid lives and have their own child!! And I also am so tired of the Katherine story line, it needs to be over with!! |
