I'm sorry about your Nicholas. I do want to say daisy mae (Lori)is one of the most kindest, caring and wonderful people here on YT and I can call her a very close and sincere friend. I am sure she meant nothing mean by her post and I hope you can understand her grandma has cancer right now and she is dealing with her own issues so I'm sure it was stress and worry that may have made her post come out that way. I know she would never mean anyone harm or negative thoughts to anyone!! |
Well I Guess We Are Both Under Stress And Like I Said B4 I Apologize I Am Not That Type Of Person But I Understood The Post Differently And It Hurt My Feelings And At The Same Time It Made Me Angry I Dont Know Her And I Am So Sorry She Is Going Thru A Rough Time Just Like My Family Is And I Wish Her The Best I Apologize Because I Do Admit After 6 Wks Of This I Have Been Getting A Little Snippy Or Misunderstanding, And Taking Things The Wrong Way So, Thank You To The People That Gave Me Some Ideas But I Will NOT POST Here Anymore I Will Just Keep Posting On My 1st Original Post On My Nephews Updates And I Am So Sorry That I Dared To Ask For Help And Maybe Didnt Explain It The Correct Way And It Was Misunderstood On Both Sides. I Hope Your Grandmother Does Well And By The Grace Of God Gets Better. But For Myself This Forum Is For Finding Friends, Sharing Good Moment And Bad Ones Too. I Feel Its The Only Way You Can Speak To A Bunch Of People And Get Diff Opinions (i Personally Dont Have Friends Here That Would Vouch For Me) But Its Ok!!!! We Are All Entitled To Make Or Say Mistakes And I Feel Good With This Last Post So God Bless You All And Good Luck In Everything!!!! I AM NOT ONE OFFEND ANYONE |
Besides all the other suggestions, I would suggest to get a lot of jars with a cut out in the top for people to put money in. Put a picture of the baby on the jar with an exclamation of him needing surgery. Then take the jars to gas stations, convenience stores, grocery stores, and where ever there is a lot of people coming and going. That really adds up. In Lori's defense, I have to say that she wasn't trying to be mean. Right now she is going through the waiting game of finding out about her Grandma's cancer. I know exactly what that's like and it's very hard to concentrate on other things with something like that on the mind. She's a sweetheart and also needs our support right now! Good luck in your fund drive! About the insurance, many times they will turn down the first request, and it takes 2 or 3 times before they agree. Can't the doctor go to bat for him and resubmit it? |
Good Luck with fund drive, but this should be posted in off topic discussions. " Only Yorkie-related posts go in General Yorkie Discussion, off topic threads belong in Off Topic ONLY." http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1996 |
Thank You For That Info I Was Not Aware Of That, Next Time I Will Keep It In Mind Sorry |

thanx you are very sweet and understanding, i know we all have our problems so with that said have a good night hopefully tomorrow would be a better post:) |
As far as the Insurance, don't take their first denial always ask for a review, talk to a Manger whatever you need to do. I worked in human insurance claims dept for 33 years and decisons do get reversed. The best way to handle is to be pleasant but forceful. VPI reversed a decison on Cali and instead of getting nothing I got 1200 on bills over 3000. Also, I don't know if this is an option, but when Dixie was so ill I had to take out the Car Credit card and if approved it is interest free for so many months. I am just paying off the last of her bills today. I hope you can get some help as I now how hard it is to come up with the money for much needed vet bills. |
