Pray we can sell our house! Our house has been on the market for 6 months. In this terrible weather we have had few people look at it but In the past two days three couples have come in and loved it! :hands: Please pray that we sell it to one of these people! :hands: We have found the PERFECT house for us in a small town south of where we live now and have put a contingent offer on it. BUT they can still sell it to someone else! :hands: Pray! Pray! Pray! Please! Please! Please!:hands: |
Oh, girl! Ill be praying for yall! |
I'll keep my fingers crossed that your house gets sold! I know it's really hard to sell right now. If you don't sell it would you be able to rent it out so you can move into the new house, until you sold your house? |
ill keep my fingers crossed:goodluck: :goodluck: |
praying !GL |
Lots of prayers coming from me! Its got to be unsettling not knowing what is going to happen from moment to moment. Just know that everything will work out and that everything happens for a reason. Hugs & puppy kisses! |
I am sending prayers to you!! |
Sending positive thoughts your way! |
Praying you sell soon!!! |
Prayers your way! |
I hope you get a good, SOLID contract on your home. Make sure the buyers are using a reputable lender that is giving an approval letter based on the credit report & supporting docs, not just an approval based on prelimenary (verbal information) details. I would also almost wait a few days after going under contract before removing your contingency. IF you can get away with it anyways. The reason I say this is, maybe give time for the buyer to get the inspections done & know everything works out good in that area as well. That is just a suggestion. If inspections dont worry you at all and you have a solid approval letter then reomve that crazy contengency and get excited!!! I will keep my fingers crossed for you !!!! |
Ok.... it didnt feel like 5 minutes to me BUT when I went in to edit my post it said it had been. SOOOOo here is what I wanted the bottom of my post to read.... after "IF you can get away with it." Couple of reasons I say this.. 1) gives your realtor a chance to visit with the buyer lender to check on the file, make sure good solid buyer, make sure lender has reviewed credit & such. 2) possibly allwos buyer to get inspections done, make sure everything is per contract with inspections & that it isnt going to fall through due to inspections. If you & your Realto arent worried about either of those then reomve that crazy contengency and get excited!!!r I will keep my fingers crossed for you !!!! |
Angi, Thanks for the great advice. I am printing it out for my husband to read! Are you a realtor? ANYWAY A woman looked at the house yesterday and told the realtor that it was the best one she had seen so far. She especially loved our bedroom. We got a call last night that she wants to come back and look at it again today. Our realtor said that they almost always make an offer if they do that! I'm so excited. I sure do believe in prayer!!!!!! Keep it up. I may get my perfect house!!!! |
Finally have my house sold in NH--- we close on April 3rd! It took seven months and ruthless price lowering, but we just want to move on. We had already bought 14 acres here in NY and can't wait to start building. This spring/summer, it's all about the build! I am sending you all the best vibes that buyer comes through for you so you can move on too!!!!!!! |
I am sending lots & lots of prayers!!!! we just signed our final papers yesterday, after starting all this in feb!! woo-hoo!! we are going from about 6 acres to 32 acres & we just can't hardly wait! when they come back a second time that usually means they def. like it so I am hoping all the best for you!!! |
prayers for you Lou! |
Sending prayers that your house sells and everything goes smoothly:) |

It is GREAT they are coming back for a second viewing. I will keep my fingers crossed even tighter now!!! Keep us posted. I am anxious to hear if they do something. To everyone else that has had a trying time selling... I hate it for you. I have 1 lisitng right now that is killing me but it is in a small town that doestn get alot of activity. All my other listings are good. :) Our market here in OK isnt bad.. it is taking a little bit longer than usual to get them sold but we arent having to twist arms to sell, so for that we are thankful. It is just taking so long b/c there are so many to choose from coming off a VERY VERY slow Nov/Dec. Hope all goes well with everyones transactions!!! |
Angi! The second look was the woman't husband and he really liked the back yard! It is funny that you say the house you are having a problem with is in a small town that doesn't get a lot of activity. That sounds like the house we want to buy! Population 350! They don't even deliver mail to the door - you have to pick it up at the post office! I love it! After the Chicago suburbs I'm ready for polite friendly country folk that don't let their kids run wild at 2AM! |

Our realtor called thier realtor last night. She said it was between our house and another (I've heard that before!) and they may want a third look. Now I'm bummed. Angi! Come sell my house!!!!! |

I would LOVE to come sell your house !! Good luck and update when you know more :goodluck: :xfingers: |
Good Luck!!! |
No news??? |
did you sell? Keeping fingers and toes crossed. |
I hope you get your dream house, my husband father estate has been on the market for over a year now, we have several problems with it beside the housing market, insurance coverage for new owners is outrageous if you can find someone to insure for hurricanes, |
No news yet. Sigh. Our realtor called and said something to my husband that was interesting. He claims she said she was going to call their realtor and see if they could work something out. That is all I know. Hubby is on medication that clouds his memory sometimes and pressing the issue makes him anxious and mad so I've gotten everything I can out of them. He says he has a really good feeling about this though. I have to go initial the papers on the other house and renew our offer for the second time today!!!! I'm glad they aren't pressuring us. |
Keep your head up... As long as the sellers of the one you are wanting are willing to extend your contract that is great. That also means they havent gotten offers &/or lookers. In my eyes a contingency contract is better than no contact at all & if you need to extend to have a contract then go for it... it isnt like you got anything else going for ya Good luck |
Well, we found out the couple is still trying to decide. In the meantime I am insisting on having an open house. So one is scheduled for the 26th. Our realtor is going to post ads all over the place and our friend (the finance guy) will be on site to discuss financing. So it should be quite a day. Once again.....Keep thinking good thoughts for us and say those prayers. They are greatly appreciated. |
Praying for lots of sunny days to bring folks out. Lets get it SOLD! Prayers for you continue. |
