| College...BLAH Ugh I just need to vent!!!! I am so hating school right now. too much work!!!! I feel like there is so much to do and not enough time. I have so much work and am so behind, I feel like maybe I am just too old for this. Im sitting here trying to get my work done and my kids keep calling me, max and macy keep fighting I just cant concentrate and my assignments are so boring i dont want to read this stuff. I feel so overwhelmed its not even funny at this point I want to say the h*ll with this school crap and just fail. one piece of advice I could give is this...do what you have to do when you are younger because as you get older and have a home, kids and other responsibilities it just makes school that much harder. If only i had listened to my mother

| I'm sorry that you are having such a hard time with school right now, but you've got to stick with it. I just graduated in May with a B.S. in Communications and I remember being very overwhelmed and I'm young with no kids and I didn't have Lucy yet, so I can only imagine what you are going through. Here are some studying tips that might help: I used to always re-write my notes out before an exam or test, I would also answer any questions that were at the end of textbook chapters. If you are having trouble reading and remembering I always found that reading out loud helped a lot. Also taking notes on anything important from the text, might also be useful. I know you said you can't get any peace and are distracted, have you thought of maybe going to the library? Good luck and hang in there

| Hang in there Jeanette! What's your major and how much longer do you have? I don't have any advice for you... obviously, since I decided to sit this semester out because I couldn't focus and changed my major again. Take a break, drink a cup of coffee, walk the dogs around the block...maybe clear your head before going at it again?!

| Childhood education sounds fun and such a rewarding degree! Are you planning on teaching?

| Yes it is very interesting and for the most part I enjoy the classes its just that I let things pile up and thats where the stress comes in lol. I am actually planning to get my masters in guidance counseling. I had a guidance counselor in JHS that helped me so much and that is what I want to do for children. I plan on teaching while i get my masters, and after my masters if all goes well I will be applying for a guidance counselor position
