Bare Minerals Hi Everyone, My friend and I use Bare Minerals. If it looks as good on me aas it does on her YIPPEE! I will never use anything else. It covers all the flaws and I think it makes you look younger. it never appears caked on, in fact it doesn't look like you have any makeup on. I have never been able to find make up that looked natural so i wore very little. Now I never go out without it. LOL Don't mean to ramble on, but this is one product I have told many ladies about. My best friends thought I had some "work" done on my face the first time I wore it. Oh - yes I do have some of those wisdom lines, but they disappear like magic. Love it. Cookie  |
I've been thinking about getting the starter kit for my daughter. She uses Clinique now and Bare Minerals is so much better for your skin. They have the kit at Target now. I only use loose powder and in the past I've tried mineral make up because I sold it at the spa where I worked. I know it is super light but it felt just a little too heavy for me since I'm just not used to having anything on my face. It's so much better for your skin though I've been thinking about trying just the veil for myself. |
I have been thinking about trying this too! I've heard mostly good things about it. |
I use it everyday! I wouldn't wear anything else! I love Sephora!!!!! |
Go to Fragrance, Cosmetics & the Finest Facial Skin Care Product Selection at Sephora.com they have everything you could want from BE!!! |
I use the mineral powder foundation from Mary Kay, not the same as Bare Minerals, but I can definitly say I like mineral powder foundations now the best! You don't feel it on your face, it's very light. |
Where do you live? Quote:

I get mine from QVC.com – The Official Site I luv it when they have the days special value... You always get a really great deal.. I've tried Philosophy, Laura Geller (sp?), other other top brands and I will only use the BE... I'm an addict! |
We don't have an Ulta and our Sephora is an hour away. For those of you who got it at JCPenney, where is it? Is there a makeup counter or is it in their salon? |
I just ordered BE from QVC. I cant wait to try it |
Someone said they saw it at Target and I did find an eyeshadow kit there. I didn't see any other kits but I would imagine that they are carrying the basic stuff there too. |

You can get Philosophy at Sephora! I have some of their products and I really like hope in a jar :) If you don't have a Sephora around go to their website (sephora.com) it's where I ordered my B.M. and you don't have to join their club also you get free samples from Sephora! :) I saw Philosophy products on HSN or QVC ... I can't remember but the both have websites. If you go to Sephora you can try their products too so if you're not sure about B.M. you should probably go there! :) |
Bare Minerals Hi, I use nothing but Bare Minerals for the year and a half. My skin is so different now, I love it. I am allergic to almost everthng and found this to be fantastic. The first time I bought it I got it in a kit 2 choices light or dark. That made it very easy. I just went from there with adding things. Good Luck. Cookie |
I am using bare minrals and I absolutely love it. I like what it is doing to my skin AND it is so quick and easy to apply! |

I have really sensitive skin and I use BM. I do itch sometimes, but everything makes me itch, so nothing new there. Overall I really like BM, a lot! |
Also, if you have any flaws, like redness, be sure to get bisque. It really does a good job hiding any scars or redness. The one bad thing I can say about BM is that it's messy. I always have it all over my dresser. No biggie, just thought I'd mention it. |
I absolutely adore this stuff. It took me a while to get used to how light it feels on, like nothing is there, but it is. I am a club member so they ship me more every few months automatically. My only complaint is lately I have had problems with my shipments being delayed in the mail or getting lost. Lately they have been using UPS Mail Innovations, which starts out in the UPS system and then when it arrives locally, it is handled by the US Mail. It is the Mail part where my packages are getting lost. If you order from the company, specifically request that they send UPS ground, and not Mail Innovations. |
My skin is better too... I ust to always break out and now I have clear skin... Luv, Luv my BE... Also, I like the fact that when it's hot my face doesn't melt off!! LOL...:aimeeyork |
Just wanted to share that I canceled my Bare Minerals club shipments. My order got lost in the U.S. Mail, again. This is the second time in the last month. To save frustration, I suggest buying at a local retailer if you can. I gave the company my two cents worth and begged them to ship via UPS all the way. Also, when you buy at a retailer, you get full size jars of foundation and mineral veil. The club sends you starter size jars. The bigger jars are much less messy and last longer. |
I use the Bisque Bare Minerals and just love it:cool: |

I started using BM a year ago and I could never go back to liquid. BM is so natural. It doesn't feel like you've got any makeup on, but covers really good. At first I wasn't sure about it, but once you learn how to use it, you'll love it and it's lasted me a year already.. It last a long time... Hope this helps...:aimeeyork |
I've used bare minerals for about 4 years. I love it. I used to use mary kay cream to powder foundation and it always seemed to get "caked" up around the "creases" around my eyes. I don't get that with the bare minerals. I use the bisque, well-rested (great under the eyes and in the corners of your eyes), and the foundation. I used warmth for blush on occasion. I have also tried the eyeshadow. I like the colors and the look, however, it's too much trouble for me to open and close three different color jars when I can still use my mary kay and have it all there open and ready for me. So, bottom line, love the foundation! |

but i get mine from serendipity a place here.. |
2 Attachment(s) I use Everyday Minerals and I'm in love. I've heard people who used Bare Minerals then switched to Everyday Minerals and like it even more. You can get a trial kit on EverydayMinerals.com (you get 3 foundations, 1 blush and 1 concealer) and you just pay S&H which is like $3.90. I hardly get breakouts to begin with but this helped clear up the dreaded ones I get when Aunt Flow visits, very flawless finish. Here's a picture of me with it on. Attachment 229670 Attachment 229671 Excuse the dorky faces and Lilly trying to attack my drink in the 1st one. I just thought I'd give another opinion on something else that's better for people who can't afford the $60.00 kits that Bare Minerals offers.:p Oh and the starter kit with the normal size products is around $30.00. |
