thank you all for your concerns and prayers. today nicolas is doing very well, mom and nick are being discharged the latest this wednesday from philadephia childrens hosp(yeah) they are coming in thru angel flight, but the plastic surgeon did give her the name of a wonderful surgeon for him in miami childrens hosp(we really need to reduce his tongue because eventually it affects everything(teeth,speech,eating,talking!!!)but we are going to see this dr and see if he would find it medically necessary to have it done(lets please pray)so united health care will approve his surgery other than that i have not posted any new pics because his mom sends them to me thru my cell and i really dont know how to transfer them to the computer??? or if you would be able to see them clearly, sorry but as soon as he lands here he is mine:) and i promise i will post his new pics. about the fundraiser that something that we are going to hold off on for to see if can keep fighting the insurance company, it was only a thought(don't want to get into details about that!!!!!!!)but thank you all you guys have been my support thru this whole ordeal i am so sorry i didnt post earlier but i was cleaning the house and trying to leave everything perfect so when they come home next week(GOD willing) i can spend some time with him, mom send me a pic of herself and the baby and she does not look good she looks very thin in the face and tired she needs all the rest she can get!!! well good night guys i'll talk to you guys tomorrow as soon as i get any news-GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR YOUR BIG HEARTS!!!!!!! thanx one more time cathy:)

I am keeping Nicolas and your family in my prayers. I worked in an Insurance Claims dept for 33 years, keep fighting, but go to the top, head of department, letter to the president. If you can get media attention as well. They do reverse decisions and sure sounds like it is medically necessary.

thank you guys for still asking for nick, as of now he is home doing well he is on a growth hormone 4 times a day (every 6 hours)and blodd sugar testing is about 2-4 times a day depending on hoe the day is going i have not posted because my feelings really got hurt on that dumb thread i started on how u would start a fundraiser for him i guess peolpe took it the wrong way or maybe i did. since i've under so much stress between niccholas and other things but anyway i dedided to post today, because i finally went to see him yesterday and he looks good he is 7 weeks old and wghs 11lbs and 11oz(thats due to the growth hormone)sadly with this syndrome thats what they have to give him to regulate his hypoglycemia-but he is doing very well thank GOD!!!sugar well, only problem is that he cries a lot maybe he was spoiled in the hosp by the nurses attention and/or the inj also has side affects(abd pain,diarrhea and gallstones)sad uhh!!!but its what has him alive and its what we have to deal with. i thank you guys for your persistence in asking for him and i'll post some pics of him so you can see how much he has grown(by the way mom&dad)had to shave all his hair off because in the hospital the shaved the sides of his head thinking they were going to put the main line in there but they didnt so they just decided to shave it all off so it all can grow even-i am a little upset with my brother weve been having issues between each other and i just at this point don't know what to do(stop seeing my nephew)because of him or just saying forget you i am seeing him like it or not !!!we have a lot of problems because he doesnt like the way my oldest son is(he's going to be 13 yrs old and when it comes to one of your children the story changes i am so hurt right now because he has such a stone heart i feel he doesnt like my son, but i at the other hand have done everything i can for his what should i do???should i just erase nick from life and heart or just say what ever and just go see him when my brother is not home????

more to come, i guess all familys have there issues but i guess this is different and its driving me insane i am so confused(my son will always come 1st)and it hurts because ive done so much out of my heart for them and he still attacks my son-he says i take thing personally but i am a mother and my instinct will always be to defend my children!!but, i still love nicholas to death:(

That is wonderful news!! Thank you so much for the update. It's amazing how little Nicolas has grown since the last pictures. What a precious little boy. I'm sorry you are having problems within your family ... I think all families do. If it were me, I would not stay away from little Nicolas ... just visit when there will be no confrontation. Things have a way of working themselves out eventually. I will still be praying for little Nicolas and for your family. What a lucky little boy to have an aunt like you! :) God bless you all.

I just saw this thread. I haven't been on YT much lately so I have missed a lot. Little Nick is adorable and I am so glad he is doing well. If it were me I would grin and bear it with your brother and keep seeing little Nick. I can tell he means the world to you. You are a great "auntie"!

thank you guys, you are all so wonderful i have not been able to post since i have been busy with my boys and my little furbabies. and as well i am going to post some pics of them in another thread, but for my little nico i havent seen him in over a week or 2 but will see him this sunday in church GOD willing. just spoke to mom and his blood sugar did go down today to 53 which is not good but she gave him him his meds and formula and as of right now its in 102 THANK YOU JESUS !!!!!!!!i will post his pics as soon as i come home sunday so you guys can see how big he is. the syndrome he has makes him grow bigger then his age and thats ok he so beautiful, i am so fortunate that my sister in law has sent me almost everyday a picture of him on my cell and he looks so much like my kids!!!!its amazing!!!!!well thank you all for your prayers and well wishes and i still will keep this thread going until you guys get tired of me and my nico :) for now we are ok under the circumstances and only in our LORDS name i have the faith that he will improve everyday more and more!!!!!!!thank you again(i can't say thank you as much as i would like to)for being such wonderful and caring people may GOd bless you all and i promise i will post more, and as soon as i get pics will post them and keep you all posted on his status.
