| ![]() I'm trying to think of something to do for hubby for his graduation. A lot of his buddies are doing things with their families after graduation ceremony but hubby isn't going to graduation. Everyone had been pushing him to go but he paid his own way through so I guess it's his choice. Anyways....I don't want to do a traditional open house. Those are generally more for the parents to enjoy and again they didn't do anything. We do have a son and I'd like it to be something kid friendly. We wont have a ton of money to spend, maybe a couple hundred. Any ideas???

| ![]() If the weather is good, what about a picnic, your son would enjoy that and you could make it special for your hubby with champagne, cheeses, snacks and a little surprise gift? Sheilagh

| ![]() Thank you! He truely deserves this. It's something to even graduate from this school. He also worked part time his whole way through to support me, then once our son came along he just took on the challenge and never complained. I wish I had more money. I'd love to buy him a Gibson guitar like he use to have. He had to sell it once when money was tight and I know he misses it. I just don't have 1,000 to spend on one like it. Someday I'll buy him that guitar. ![]()

| ![]() Not sure about any suggestions for a graduation get together but I just graduated in May and my favorite gift by far, was my diploma frame, my father got it for me from the university bookstore and it's really nice and I was happy to have a nice place to display my diploma. So if you were looking for a gift idea.

| ![]() Oh, tell him congratulations. I know you are very proud of him. Maybe you could have a small cookout with just a few close friends.
