What good movies are out?
 
Has anyone seen any good movies out lately, either in theatres or dvd?

I think it's still in theaters, but The Bucket List is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Jack Nicholson & Morgan Freeman are fabulous together and scenery is gorgeous!!!!

We watched Vantage Point last weekend and enjoyed it.

This movie was really good! Highly recommended movie to watch.

I am not one to be up on the latest movies, but did rent "The Brave ONe" w/ Jodi Foster- it was a good movie!! I do not know how long it has been out , though!!

No Country for Old Men and Michael Clayton if you are into movies that make you think..you got a few good feel good movies and these two are well worth seeing. No Country for Old Men won best picture at the Oscars and so did Michael Clayton and this one you can rent but No Country for Old Men is still at the theater I think. :thumbup:

We'll be watching movies today - we are in a blizzard since yesterday afternoon and should go on until tomorrow morning. :(

Time for movies and wine!!:D :D :D

Have you seen Juno? It was good. We mostly see those that are already on DVD.

we watched Michael Clayton the other night...I wasn't sure how to feel about it. I did like how it ended tho :) it was definitely one to keep you thinking..but it was also kinda slow.

I'm no critic LOL

This is coming to our bargain theatre in town in a week or two and I definately want to see it now. Thanks!:p

Rendition with Reece Witherspoon was pretty good. We just got Joshua in the mail today, has anybody seen it? I just added Bucket List to my Que but it doesnt have a release date yet.

We just watched "No Reservations" last weekend. Cute movie...kind of a chick flick, but dh liked it too. I wouldn't say he RAVED over it, but he didn't complain; I think b/c it had cooking in it, LOL. Very Feel Good movie.

JUNO< JUNO< JUNO!!!! I LOVED this movie! I was drug by my daughter thinking it was a boring young adult flick... wrong! Turns out it was borderline inappropriate for my daughter! lol She is quite mature though and she handeled it very well, it was nothing we had not talked about and do not continue to keep an open dialogue over so it was actually a good mom and daughter flick...

DAD was kicking himself for not going! It was a killer flick! A classic... Truely what movies are about! It was like a PB&J sandwhich paired with a tall glass of milk! mmmmm good! And so satisfying!

I took my 10 year old daughter to see Step Up 2 - The Streets last weekend at her request..but let me tell ya I loved it!! Ive downloaded all the songs and watch the dance clips on youtube alot..

I want to see Juno but its done playing at our theaters!!

We have watched American Gangster, Brave One, Silk, BorderTown, We Own the Night. They were all good entertainment but definately not for kids!

My boyfriend rented Joshua from Blockbuster Online a few months back. He always gets the most random movies so I usually just sit back on my computer and ignore the movie but I actually got really into it. It was really good! I actually liked it a lot better than The Omen and other movies like that. :thumbup:

Across the University was GREAT! I would highly recommend it if you enjoy The Beatles. It is a very unique movie, but fun to watch!

We saw "Be Kind-Rewind" this weekend. It stars Jack Black. If you like off-beat movies, go to this one. We left smiling! A funny feel good kind of movie.
