Snow..... We have the most gorgeous BIG snowflakes coming down here in Texas. It is so beautiful. And we are having thunder and lightening with it. As usual when there is snow in Texas, schools are closing, wrecks all over, and all normal programming has shut down on TV....and our Direct TV just went off. |
Snow Thunder! we got that Super Bowl Sunday here! |
What? Where? It is 45 degrees here! I want some of that snow!!! |
OH wow... I never see that here in New England, then again I never see beautiful snow anymore either bc it usually piles up a foot or two before it ends trapping everyone indoors! Thats not beauty to me! HAHA enjoy it though! :) |
Since you like it so much next snow storm we have I am going to send it your way. It's so pretty to watch but hate to function in it. |
I wish it was snowing in Houston! I think we are supposed to get some of that thunder down here. |
Well It has been snowing for about an hour here...temps are down to 33. Schools are cancelled and the roads are terrible. My daughter is picking up the kids now and said road are awful. She has seen several people slide off the roads. We had a few flakes night before last but this is our first snow of the season. It is blowing so hard that the little "eyes" won't let the garage door go down. Richard had to uplug it and lower it manually! |
Hee hee ... it is 55 degrees here today and it feels like SPRING! Lovin it !! :D |
Ugh! This has been the longest winter ever! We all can't wait till it's nice enough to go outside and get the fresh air. :) |
SNOW??? Its 75 degrees here today! |
It was almost 75 degrees here yesterday!!!! |

Ah! You're getting the snow that is supposed to come my way! They are calling for 3-4 inches and here in the Ozark Mountains, that's enough to shut down our town. I'm gonna hope for 4 inches because I need a day off! |
I just hope we get regular programing back on before 7 so I can watch Survivor!! |

Oh Frister, I LOVE snow! Would you please order some for the week of March 26th? Please stay safe! How is Abigail and Murfee enjoying it? |
Well Miss Cindy we don't want snow for March 26....it's an outside wedding!! Murfee won't go out and I so badly want to get a picture of him in the snow. Abigail and Rooster are in the loafing shed and Richard has turned their heat lights on for them. It has been snowing so hard that we can't even see our neighbors house...huge flakes more than an inch in diameter. |
Kallee, my granddaughter, just went out and measured 6 1/2 inches:eek: |
Im finally getting snow too!!! And I just started a thread becasue I didnt see yours, lol. Sorry about that. Can you believe it? Isnt this crazy? Im so excited except my poor hubby has to drive home in it. |

We just had a great storm with a little hail, but sadly no snow:( Maybe next year! |
we have yet to get any of that bad weather that was supposed to it. I guess snow is fun as long as all your family is home and you don't have to go out in the stuff. |
We live in Krum and the news just said we had 9 inches of snow on the ground...and it's still snowing. |

Tuesday night we got 10". It was in the mid 20's and it was thundering and lightening along with these huge snowflakes. I'm glad you Texans are so excited for the snow. We've had more than our fill at 60" for the season so far with the snowiest February in 50 years. We're supposed to get another storm tomorrow - up to another 12". UGH - what a long winter!!!! |
