ATTENTION!!! YT Train Help
 
I am helping to see if we can get a Train going.
It is not for sure yet but I want to see if we can get a Rehomed Yorkie
From Roanoke VA to Dallas TX.
I have Done or helped organize or drive three Trains.
:) I do know it can be done :)

Please Let me know if you would be willing to help out get a Very special Pup to Texas.

Here is the Google Map of the route we would need to follow.

I would help in a heartbeat, but we're south of the route. If you need support for emails, phone trees, or gas money, please let me know. :)

I cannot help but want to wish you all the best on getting the train going for this pup. I also want to keep an eye on this thread..

I will be driving down to Nashville, then to Atlanta, and then back up from Atlanta to Nashville & then home in a couple weeks - so if I could somehow help with some type of leg in Tenn. let me know.

The route isnt anywhere around me but if you need donations for gas keep me in mind

If the flight issues does not work out and the train is gonna "roll" through I-20 in MS, I'd be happy to help out. Dallas is approximately 6 hours from me - I could drive as far as Shreveport (or closer if a YT member wants to pick up the train in Monroe or Ruston, LA) - Shreveport is about 3 hours west of me, Monroe an hour, and Ruston about an hour and a half. PM me if my help is needed.

Hi guys, this is possibly for me. Thank you Lori for organizing this. I'm trying to get Daisy from daisyneedsahome, as are several other wonderful yt members who would give her a good home. One of Daisy's mom's concerns is that it's going to be traumatic enough for Daisy to have to have a new home let alone be passed from person to person on the YT train, and I don't blame her. My folks live in Texas and are coming up to WA and need to be here by the 22nd. They are probably going to drive. We are trying to determine if it would be at all possible to get her to Texas and how many hands she would have go through, in case it would help her mom make a decision.

I can help! I live in Knoxville and would be willing to drive to Cookeville. I know its not that far, but thats all I can do. And I can only do it on a saturday or sunday. Let me know if I can help. Thanks!

Yes Lori, I am in Dallas. I am picking up Cindy at the airport sometime the week of March 23 and she said she would fly with the sweet little baby from Georgia so just let us know.

I can tell you from the train I Drove that if the Pup is a well socialized as Patty Cake was it all will go wonderful. She did really Great.

She would need to be in Dallas by the 16-18 of this month.
Whits parents need to leave for washington by then.

..... Ok here is what has developed.. Tiggerr36792 Offered to take Daisy from Nashville to Dallas on the 11th when she Delivers Tessa to Mandee..... Is that not the sweetest :)
If we could work this out it would be GREAT!!! I have not talked to Whit yet though...
So maybe we just need a Train to Nashville:) Can we do it Y'all????

I think it is great that everyone is looking out for the pup. I traveled with a pup from here to texas on the YT train...she switched hands in dallas and went on to austin (I think...is that right????) anyway....it seemed ok with the pup. she didn't seem stressed or upset by it at all. That is the only experience I have had with that sort of thing...but I do know the YT train has worked for several pups and I have not heard anything negative about it in regards to the pup (or anything else for that matter) so maybe this is actually a good way to transport.
let me know if I can be of any help at all. I think it is wonderful that you are trying to give this baby a great home. KUDO'S to you :D
