What is/was your pregnancy cravings? I have not really craved one particular thing that I just had to have. I feel like I eat all the time though. |
Boston creme doughnuts and I never got over the craving....my baby is 15. Sometimes it would just hit you....man would such and such be good now...or you find one thing that you think is wonderful and eat it ALOT. |
watermelon with my youngest son..I used to eat a whole watermelon(with salt) every other day, wouldn't even let the 2 other kids have any(I'm bad)..I put on 60 lbs with him, and to this day(he's 23 now), he hates watermelon |
I liked to take a bite of an Eskimo Pie and then a bite of a radish, sure did taste good together:rolleyes: |
When I was pregnant with my twins, I was craving white cake with strawberry filling. :cake: When I called to place the order, the lady who was taking my order asked what the cake should say. I said: nothing just leave it plain white. She asked if I wanted balloons or roses on it. I said: no, nothing. I just want a full sheet with plain whip cream no design no writting. When I got home my Dad handed me a knife to cut the cake and I just waved no. I just slid one hand underneath it and started chowing down. MMMMM...it was so good, but then I couldn't eat cake for the next 2 years. It's funny cause my girls don't really like cake either....LOL! :D |

It wasn't really a food, go figure  .....It was ice!....I would put some in a zip lock and crush it and then I'd carry cups of it around and eat it with a spoon, as if it was ice cream!......I even had an uncontrollable compulsion in the grocery store so I grabbed a handful from around the produce and shoved it in!...I know, eeeewwww! |

OMG I would have them ALL eaten before I got home lol. at one time I had a thing for cherry tomatoes.. no slat or any thing. |
Wow, lots of watermelon cravings. It must be a common one, that was mine too. Man did I eat a lot of watermelon. My other craving was green grapes. Every now and then I'd crave a pizza with everything which is not something I would normally eat. I don't like onions or peppers on my pizza and before I was pregnant I hated olives. Pregnancy is a strange thing!:p |
Watermelon and Chesapeake Crabs... |
I had no cravings w/my first baby. When I was pregnant with my 2nd baby I craved sprite and only sprite. But I loved certain smells like the smell of leather or the smell of oil--like automotive oil. weird I know. 3rd baby--pumpkin pie ice cream last baby--I was completely out of my gourd. I needed to wash my face with Noxzema and smell that and then I had to wear a ton of Shower to Shower powder every day. I looked like Casper the Ghost by the time I finished putting the powder on. It was the strangest thing ever. And after she was born, I could care less if I ever used powder or Noxzema. Pregnancy does strange things sometimes. |

I am not a huge meat eater but I swear every day I wanted some kind of meat....it was rediculous. |
Hmmm...let's see, before I even knew I was prego and in the early days, I craved cherry icees and vinegar and salt chips. Then I craved Taco Bell enchiritos for a few weeks. Then Coco Krispies....and I ate about a box a day for a month. Then what was really wierd, I craved the way things smelled--new carpet, new tires, magic markers, gas! And ice--I would eat ice until it froze my tounge and I couldn't talk. |

LOL on the Taco Bell. My first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage but the way I figured out I was pregnant was I craved a regular beef taco from Taco Bell every single day. My mom ate a bean burrito every day when she was pregnant with me and so I bought a test and lo and behold... Normally I am not a Taco Bell fan to say the very least! I didn't crave it when I was pregnant with my daughter so I guess I got it out of my system the go round. |
For my first one it was jumbo freezies, my second it was butterfinger chocolate bars and my third it was ice cubes..I was constantly chewing on ice cubes and it wrecked the enamel on my teeth..but I could NOT help myself lol.. Dawn |
