I use the Scoomba the auto robot floor cleaner, I love it....I also have the roomba that vacuums the floor....they both work great...I don't think I have used a mop or vacuum in over a year...except for cleaning along the baseboards... |

Shark steam mop Is the Shark steam mop safe on Laminate or Pergo wood floors? I may have to invest in one. I googled it and it looks awsome!!:D |

It says so on the box and I have laminate in the kitchen.(Pergo) It does a really great job. I would guess on certain kinds of wood floors you may have to push but on the laminate, marble and tile no problem. I really like it. I will probably clean my floors maybe once a month with lysol but all the other weekends Steam Mop it is. |

Well I am getting my kitchen tiled in a couple of weeks and I will just go to a damp mop after that. I have stupid stupid laminate flooring (NEVER again) and the swiffer wet was by far the easiest way to keep it looking ok. |
Ok, nobody laugh....but,I actually like cleaning the floors. I am another one that cleans on my hands and knees. Yes, it hurts my back and knees, but I love being able to see how clean I am getting the floor. Oh my, I am really giving away how much of an anal cleaning freak I am! I use the Swiffer Wet but without the mop part. I like that it has the green scrubing strip so I can really get in the corners. I then let it dry and go back over with a disinfecting cleaner (but not on hands and knees for this part.). Tammy |
