Gotta get my baby here!!! HELP!!! By now, you all know that I am getting Tessa (Noel) from Deb (tiggerr36752) very soon. Well, I am trying to find flights from Nashville to either Oakland or San Francisco so I can get her, or so Deb can bring her here. OYE....this is so incredibly insane. First, my friend has offered to go get the pup for me because it is just cheaper to fly on either a Tuesday or Thursday...and Deb can only travel on the weekends. But I just can't find a decent rate. I am trying to make this a 1 day trip so I dont have to put my friend up in a hotel but OMG...it's impossible. I can find one day trips on the weekends but they are like $550+. Any ideas? I am horrible at searching for travel stuff because I dont travel that much. so if anyone has any hints or tips for me, I would appreciate it. Too bad we can't get the YT train allllllll the way here LOL |

thats the cheapest I find, its an early flight 10:15 am Depart Nashville (BNA) Arrive San Jose (SJC) 4:40 pm Tue 26-Feb and long...8 hours! |

Are you against having Tessa flown to you?? That's what did with Livi because I live in Missouri and she was in California. She did great and was COMPLETELY unaffected when we picked her. We then got back in the car and drove 3 hours home. She was just as happy could be. :) Tammy |

If you just ship the puppy, it will probably cost around $250, if you fly and then have to bring back, the airlines charge anywhere from $50 on up to fly with them, so, it's actually going to cost more to fly up and get the puppy..They do well on the flights by themselves, I had the last one flown to me.. |

lets see... If I could help....I will be in Vegas March 25.....and can be in Arkansas.....which is kinda close to Dallas...I think......will be in San Fran sometime in April for a National Sales mtg...but not sure of exact date.... |

If it were me, I'd be most comfortable with hand delivery, like you seem to be... I looked on sidestep.com (GREAT website that searches many websites at once) and on March 12th (random day I picked) It says $230, and that's into SFO, so that's REALLY not bad at all! I would go for it and have your friend go get that baby!!! :D |
Wanted to add....Here is a link (that I hope will work) to a flight that is $230, and it goes to SFO and leaves a little time in between going and returning flights in case of delays and to be sure she is able to get the baby in time before leaving again.
