Mandee - San Jose, Oakland or San Francisco would be fine. I am open to bringing her there, having you or your friend come out here to get her, whatever works out best. She can be shipped to you, but as you know I prefer hand carried. Seems the prices are about the same so probably best to have her hand carried IMO. I'll check some flights as well.

Looks like the 11th is best day to fly price wise. I come up with 236.00 and 238.00 for orbitz and cheap tickets out of sfo or sjc airport.

will they charge you to bring the puppy on with you? Or is that included in the price quoted?

no, it is an extra 80-100 dollars each way for the pup. she only has to travel 1 way

I would LOVE to be a part of a yorkie train

Unfortunately, I'm not near the "train tracks" to get this precious baby to Nashville - I'm south of there. That would be awesome if the train could run this time.

um, my friend and I could drive a few hours out with no problem. But honestly, there isn't much time LOL

If I could help....I will be in Vegas March 25.....and can be in Arkansas.....which is kinda close to Dallas...I think......will be in
San Fran sometime in April for a National Sales mtg...but not sure of exact date....

Who on here wouldn't enjoy hand carrying your new "baby" on the airplane for you? Why not post another thread and ask about it?

I would have done that for my daughter's dog (she's getting her Friday night) but she is a teapot and I don't think she is small enough.

If it were me, I'd be most comfortable with hand delivery, like you seem to be...
I looked on sidestep.com (GREAT website that searches many websites at once) and on March 12th (random day I picked) It says $230, and that's into SFO, so that's REALLY not bad at all! I would go for it and have your friend go get that baby!!!

Wanted to add....Here is a link (that I hope will work) to a flight that is $230, and it goes to SFO and leaves a little time in between going and returning flights in case of delays and to be sure she is able to get the baby in time before leaving again.
