Being a women I feel sad, miserable, moody, grumpy, yucky, and my boobs hurt! I hate PMS!!!!!! |
OH!! am i right there with ya on this one...my hormones rule my life...seriously! grumpy/moody, water retention..tired...want to eat crap..lol I think i only feel 'normal' for about 1 week in a month!! |
I havent had PMS in like 3 years. Im on the depo shot and dont get a period anymore. However it made me gain weight :( |
Yeah!! I agree!!! Us women go thru crap every month. What do men get? A hard-on every now & then? LOL!!! And from what I hear, that doesn't hurt them but feels good. LOL!!! Another thing, why are women traditionally paid less than men even in the same field of work doing the same job, yet we're the ones who have to take part of our income and spend it on tampons, pads, Midol, Prozac, heating pads, and Wine just to get thru the month ?:yelrotflm hehehe. (sorry, I'm having PMS too, hence my rant. LOL!!) Hope you feel better soon!! :p |
Ok... so I am probably going to make you all want to shoot me. I have DREAM monthlies! I mean, 3 days, no cramps, no moodiness, I eat whatever I want and never gain an ounce in those days... I REALLY believe the secret is one of two things... a) exercise! when I stop exercising for long periods of time I get cramps, I get moody... it REALLY helps! and *gasp* I hope this does not offend... sex! Its like the best thing for PMS. It gets rid of moods, cramps, every single side effect! Its a wonder drug! Try it! :) *please dont be mad at me for saying that* |
I was that way 2 wks ago.. But my boobs are hurting every other day now for some reason.. I think cause they are shrinking LOL... and my body is saying no no please dont go.. LOL |

I SO feel your pain!!! I tried EVerything. The only thing that has helped me is called "PMS 1 by Oona" - it truly has helped. I never really had a whole lot of "pms" until I hit my 30s and then *BAM* - boobs hurt, boobs blew up for 2 weeks, water retention, rabid mood swings - the whole deal. Oona helped me. My husband wants to buy stock in Oona. I get it here: http://oonausa.com/ |
I get the pre-pms munchies, its like I am allways hungry especially for the sugary and deep fried stuff. |

That sucks. I have to be on prescription medication for my cramps cause they are so severe and according to DH I become the devil. Thank God the cramps only last a day and a half. Have you ever tried Therma Care for menstrual cramps. You can get them at your local CVS, Walgreens. It's a heating patch, you just peel off the back and the patch t gets placed over over your pelvic area right underneath your belly. I usually put one on before bedtime and it seems to work ok. Hope you feel better |
What I found really helps with all the pms symptoms(sp?) is chocolate!:D Lots and Lots of chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, milk chocolate, any kind of chocolate at all. It really helps if you eat alot all through the month to keep it in your system;) |

I take Lybrel, an everyday of the year birth control pill. So no periods for me. ;) I can't handle it. I'm absolutely disgusted by bleeding, I had horrible cramps and was a bitch for 3 weeks out of the month. I'm done with that crap -l- |
You all crack me up :lol tears back when the "Red Baron" paid his monthly visits to me, I also had the "dream" visit from him - no cramps, no mood swings, and his visit was never more than 3 days then he was off to the next stop on his flight to visit someone else. Hysterectomy was done just over 10 years ago so I no longer have those visits and I do NOT miss him one bit! And pain in boobs? What boobs? Even after 2 pregnancies, I didn't have any!! I am what some would call a "carpenter's dream".....flat as a board...LOL! |
YOU KNOW WHAT!!!!????? I hate it you women have to bleed, retain water water, get grouchy, lay down to put jeans on, carry change on those days you forget your things, pass clots, put us men on standyby for sex, can not cook because of cramps, send us to the store for super duper absorber- non perfumed cotton ponies, pill poppin shot takin insurance not paying days and the worst of it the VA pays for Viagra!!!!!!!! I'm gonna go punch myself in the nose right now....which should I use Tampon Pearls or a pad? You tell me. |
Lol this thread is funny. Arggh being a woman is really hard, I get the worse cramps and I don't like taking pills for them I just take a bath and go to sleep but lately they have been like arggh just out of this world and I had to start taking motrin, but i dont think it helps too much. Sometimes when I know Miss wishy washy hurt me lady is coming I wish i had a fairy godmother to turn me into a man and when she goes away to turn me back lol |
I feel you guys.. funny thing is (if you EVER see/meet Jakub DON'T tell him I told you this) he gets PMS worse than I do sometimes:eek: I swear as bitchy and moody (ok just bitchy) as I am.. when he gets his "male pms" OMG move it or lose it!!!! |
can I join this club???? I am the mood swing queen!!!!!!!!!!! :D |

I personally could NEVER do that. but I'm every mans nightmare LOL |
Vitamin D helps! Also SamE. The darkest chocolate you can enjoy-- a bit every day. And yes, sex. It even helps when I am having sinus problems. Gets that blockage moving again! If none of that works: "Standing in the middle of the house screaming that you are PMSing and prone to sudden bouts of violence." At least gives the rest of the house a heads up to stay low. *or is that just me?* |
