A very Scary email
 

I just received this in my email address, is this one of those scams how would i go about reporting it?

I am very sorry for you Xxxxxx, is a pity that this is how your life
is going
to end as soon as you don't comply.

As you can see there is no need of introducing myself to you because I
don't
have any business with you, my duty as I am mailing you now is just to
KILL you
and I have to do it as I have already been paid for that.

Someone you call a friend wants you Dead by all means, and the person
have
spent a lot of money on this, the person also came to us and told me
that he
wanted you dead and he provided us with your name ,picture and other
necessary
information's about you. So I sent my boys to track you down and they
have
carried out the necessary investigation needed for the operation on
you, and
they have done that but I told them not to kill you that I will like to
contact
you and see if your life is Important to you or not since their
findings shows
that you are innocent.

I called my client back and ask him of your email address which I
didn't tell
him what I wanted to do with it and he gave it to me and I am using it
to
contact you now. As I am writing to you now my men are monitoring you
and they
are telling me everything about you.

Now do you want to LIVE OR DIE? As someone has paid us to kill you. Get
back to
me now if you are ready to pay some fees to spare your life, $7,000 is
all you
need to spend You will first of all pay $3,000 then I will send a tape
to you
which I recorded every discussion i had with the person who wanted you
dead and
as soon as you get the tape, you will pay the remaining $4,000. If you
are not
ready for my help, then I will carry on with my job straight-up.

WARNING: DO NOT THINK OF CONTACTING THE POLICE OR EVEN TELLING ANYONE
BECAUSE I
WILL KNOW.REMEMBER, SOMEONE WHO KNOWS YOU VERY WELL WANT YOU DEAD! I
WILL
EXTEND IT TO YOUR FAMILY, INCASE I NOTICE SOMETHING FUNNY.

DO NOT COME OUT ONCE IT IS 7:PM UNTIL I MAKE OUT TIME TO SEE YOU AND
GIVE YOU
THE TAPE OF MY DISCUSSION WITH THE PERSON WHO WANT YOU DEAD THEN YOU
CAN USE IT
TO TAKE ANY LEGAL ACTION. GOOD LUCK AS I AWAIT YOUR REPLY

some people have a vivid imagination and too much time on their hands.

but this is scary. Kinda like those threatening phone calls we see in the movies.

Perhaps you should forward it to the authorities. I do not know who that would be though? FCC?

I hope it is nothing but I think the IP address can be traced.

You should def contact the police

Yes the IP address can be traced and their as*es can be charged... this is NOT funny:mad: :thumbdown

if you google the email it was sent from, it was mentioned on a scamreport website, but the link doesn't seem to work,
same exact email, if it wasn't you that posted it then possibly this email was just mass sent to try to get money etc.

This is terrible! I don't blame you for being scared. Even if it is a scam, it's still unnerving to get that email. I think you should report it. I saw a movie like that once...these scammers must have watched it too! Hugs to you! Let us know what the police say!

I have read about this before. I hate this one in particular, because even though you KNOW it's a scam and you KNOW they don't know who you are, and you KNOW your friends don't want you dead (or at least you THINK they forgave what you pulled at that last birthday party ;) ) it's so personal that it still affects you. And I HATE letting morons affect me!!! :mad:

That's not just a scam, that's extortion. I'm sure it's well-known to law enforcement, but you should contact them anyway and report it. It would scare me too. Hugs.

Please contact the police. That is awful. If there is nothing they can do I am sure they can at least advise you what to do next or who you could report this to.

OMG.... That just gave gave me the chills WTF do people not have better things to do with their time. It makes me so angry that people can do this and prey on other peoples emotions in this way. Your best bet is to contact the police. Best of luck

Yikes! I've seen some crazy email scams, but this is just sick. Sorry it scared you.

That's scary.... I would definitely contact the authorities as well. that person needs to be stopped.. we have some real weirdos and sickos in this world..

I got the exact same one on Monday....I emailed back and asked where I should send the money, but have not heard from them....
Let me know what the police say...

I guess you just never know what will be in the inbox!

that really needs to be reported SCAM or not that's VICIOUS and coldblooded. Who the hell would do that to someone ?:mad:

Hey, where in Florida are you? My nephew is a deputy in W. Palm and if you\'re close to there, I could send that e-mail to him and see what he says
