I have no idea why your neighbor thought that would be cute or funny to do. Sometimes I don't think that people use half the brains god gave them. |
That took nerve...wow how ignorant is that! Some people just don't care about others...Tis a shame..... |
I agree with everyone else, but, your puppy should NOT be out by himself..there have been hawks that have picked these pups up and taken off with them before..Mine is now almost 7 mos old, and I let her and the other 3 little ones out to play in the back fenced in yard when it's nice out..they are NEVER out there(even there is no way for them to get out) without my hubby or me being right there. |
 :thumbdown What a total moron!! I don't blame you...I would have been p***** too! Some people are just clueless...he's an idiot and I hope your husband lets him know he'd better not ever do anything like that again!! Friend or no friend! In addition to trying to scare you, and teaching your baby that he can go under the fence, he could have really hurt your baby on the bottom of the fence. Did he ever think of that? |
I would be so mad. I don't think Yorkies should ever be let outside alone though. It is way too dangerous, even if it's just for a few minutes. |
what an ahole!!!! you'd think... there's a fence there for A REASON!!!! I hope Blaze doesn't try to wiggle out... I would really have a talk with your neighbor and tell him that yorkies get stolen way too often... if he doesn't understand that... then he's not a friend (or good neighbor)... He should be keeping an eye out for your babies while they're out there.. not taking them from you to see how badly you're going to panic:thumbdown Good Luck!! |
What an idiot!!! If you have a chain link fence do this: I had my yard fenced in and between the posts, I had the installer take rebar and bend one end into a hook. Then, he hooked it around the bottom of the fence and drove it into the ground. I have 3 between each fence post all the way around my yard and my babies can't dig out. |
What an idiot!! I try not to get too friendly with my neighbours. They get brave and start doing things like painting OUR side of the fence to match theirs without asking. |
Tammyh-----:goodpost: When I don't take time to think something through it always comes back to haunt me. Joanne :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :dog: |
 I would be furious!!!! |

Some people are totally "not with it". |
I'm really sorry this happened to you! Kinda reminds me of one of our x-neighbors! We have horses and a very nice fence around the pasture, the horses could never get out of the fence, but I'll be darned if the neighbors teenaged kids did not go into the fence with 9 horses in the pasture!!! So, my dh put up an electric fence to keep the kiddos (weirdos) out! My kids did laugh one afternoon when one of the neighbors got "shocked". (It is some kind of dog shock, so it really is not that powerful.) I hope your babies stay safe! |
