So I got rear ended today on the highway! My head hurts so darn bad! And my poor car. I'm going to go sulk some more now!

Oh yea, i attached a before and after pic.:(

Oh my gosh, I am so glad that you weren't badly hurt. You car looks horrible.

omg by the looks of your car im very surprised and happy that you are ok
did you go and get checked out you just might want to just incase.just glad your ok and you didnt get hurt:)

I went to the doctor, I am ok....nothing broken, just a neck spasm. I am feeling pretty sore though. I have a feeling its only going to get worse tomorrow, and I have to go back to work, ugh! But I am very thankful...this is proof that seatbelts save lives, I would've been thrown through the windshield without a seatbelt. And thank the lord that I did not have children in the backseat, I do a lot of babysitting!

Thats looks real bad. are you okay . I"m surprise you didnt get hurt really bad .your car is a complete loss .

I was thrown threw the windshield before and i was wearing my seatbelt ,my seatbelt broke the latch gave away ,my left eye brow part of it is missing and they had to take skin from behind my ear and put it on my forehead . now everytime i get in a car i tug on the seat belt to make sure it works.thank heaven for your guardian angel

You have got to be kidding!
Oh I am so glad you are ok! I'm sorry that happened to you. ,thank god no one was in your back seat.
It will be worse tomorrow, I'm sorry, hopefully your Dr. gave you something for pain! If not call them and have them call something in to your pharmacy.
I hope you feel better soon and I hope the person that hit you has good insurance!

I am so glad you are ok. wow...that looks like they really hit you hard. You are very lucky to be ok!!!

hopefully they had insurance and you can rheem them good!!!!

thankfully you were wearing your seatbelt...and yes, thankfully no kids in the car. that would have been awful. bless your heart. I hope you feel better soon :(

Holy cow!! They must have been going 80 mph!! You will definitely be sore tomorrow. If you don't feel good, STAY HOME and rest.

I thought you said you were rear ended!! Good grief did you get the number of the mac truck that ran OVER your car doing about 180???????

YIKES!! Thank goodness you are not hurt any worse than you are! And you are right, tomorrow will be worse than today. Once you settle down tonight and go to sleep, getting out of bed in the morning will be a JOB in itself! Your guardian angel was definitely with you in that wreck.

Seeing that picture of your car sent shivers up my spine, I'm horribly scared of car accidents, I don't drive myself and I'm 25, it's a fear I have. but thank god you weren't hurt too bad, I hope you feel better, my heart goes out to you!

This made me laugh! I don't know for sure how fast he was going, the police report won't be ready for 3-5 business days....gotta love the state police! But I suspect he was going about 85, in a 55. Thank goodness he has insurance! But they are not being very cooperative right now, were supposed to call me back about a rental car at some point in time today....I waited and waited. Finally at 4:30 decided it was time to call them back....and their office was closed for the day! Geesh, not even a courtesy call to say that it couldn't be done today!

OMG:eek: From the looks of your car, you are LUCKY to be alive. Seriously! I've seen cars that weren't as damaged as yours where the people were either killed or in ICU:(

I will say this....

1) You are VERY VERY lucky that you even have the opportunity for your head to even hurt... your lucky you walked away from that.

2) That is not rear ended..... THAT.... is RAN OVER..

Sorry you had such a horrible day... i am really glad you walked away from it though....

wow the car looks very bad!!!! Thanks God you're ok! How are you feeling today? You are probably feeling more sore than yesterday, that's normal, the muscles get relaxed during the night and it the morning... yikes!!! But it will go away, don't worry! I was hit once too and the second day was the worse, then it went away in a couple of days. Make sure if you keep having pain you go to the doctor again... when this things happens, better be safe than sorry, their insurance will pay it all so you get your therapy if you need it.. and some massage :rolleyes: :)

OMG you poor thing. By the looks of that after photo it looks like you were more then rear ended.
Thankfully you were not hurt to badly!
