Oh my word! You are lucky to be alive. That's not rear ended that's a total car wreck! What the heck hit you, a train:eek: I am sorry your head hurts but hun your really one lucky lady that you came out of that wreck alive and walking. That's unbelievable to have that kind of damage from behind unless he was going 90 and not looking. Hope you feel better soon and have no after effects from this. |
How are you feeling today? Please let us know you are okay. |

You may have problems come up in the near future that stem from this. ( I hope Not Though) |
HOLY CRAP!!!! That looks like more than a rearending!!! wow... I AM sooooo glad to know you are ok! Whenever I am driving and I see a car that looks like that on the highway after a crash, tears immediately start pouring down my face! I feel soo much pain for the person who was in the car! yesterday in my area was a horrible driving day! Everyone on the commute home was very impatient and cutting people off, doing stupid things. I almost saw an 18 wheeler hit a little Scion! The Scion driver was being an ass and trying to cut into traffic at a closer spot to the exit off the highway and almost got rammed, must have got the crap scared out of him or her Im sure! Im glad he didnt get hit, but I hope he got scared to think twice about driving like and idiot! :) glad you are ok!!! |
It is a miracle you are okay. How are you? I know you have got to be hurting today. |
Hey guys! Thanks so much for all your prayers and kind words. I have felt TERRIBLE all day! I went to work, but only because I started a new job this week. It was very tough, but I made it through the day. You were right, today is much worse...I can hardly move my neck at all! Don't worry...I am getting a lawyer, and am not signing any paperwork without his approval. My parents are very concerned about problems that may occur with my neck and back as a result. I will probably end up seeing a doctor that specializes in neck pain/trauma. Obviously the crazy guy that hit me was at fault, and his insurance will be providing me with a rental car tomorrow....but I'm pretty sure I'm not ready to drive just yet!! I'm on pain medication, but still feeling pretty rough! I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life! Luckily Bella knows her momma is not feeling great, and she's been extra sweet and cuddly! |
I'm so sorry you are hurting so much. You need to take care of yourself. I would think that your new employer would certainly understanding any time you need to take off, especially if they saw that photo! I was to start a new job once and the day I was to start I was running a high temp & ended up with sinus infection, I think I started a week late -- that was 11 yrs ago and I still work there. A good employer wants a healthy employee - taking care of yourself now, will help you to be healthier down the road. |
My grandmother got rear ended one time, and years later, she ended up having whip lash from it..it just didn't show up until years later..just keep that in mind...you're lucky to be okay, and I'm glad no one was in the back seat, or they wouldn't have been so lucky..Hope you're feeling better today |
OMG. By the looks of your car... I am really glad you are ok! I sure hope your pain eases up and you feel better soon! You will be in my thoughts and prayers! :) |

I hope that your pain gets better really soon. |
Feel better soon sweetie! You are a tough cookie! |
OP---Glad to see you hired a lawyer. That was my first thought when I saw the pics of your car. Insurance companies will do anything to get out of paying a claim.:thumbdown My SIL was going to make a left-hand turn, saw that the car behind her was going to hit her, pulled onto the shoulder. The guy followed her, rear-ending her. Turned out the young man didn't have a driver's license and had a father who said nothing was his son's fault. Went to court, SIL's insurance fought the father and won. It was such a waste of time. Now-a-days no one takes responsibility for their mistakes. Just wanted to support your choice. Rear-end collisions can have long-term consequences. Best of luck. I just saw the pictures, and about swallowed my teeth!! What was he driving?? It sounds like you're doing everything right about the accident. I hope your neck feels better soon. I think I'd go ahead and have my neck and back checked out by an orthopaedic specialist if I were you. I hope everything works out for you. |
What a terrible accident. I can't believe that you just walked out of there with a neck spasm. You are lucky to be alive. You poor thing. Go and have a neck specialist check you out. You need to have that done. I don't joke around when it comes to neck and back injuries. They can cause so many residual problems later on. Thank God you are okay and had no one in the back. |
OMG!! He must have been going very fast or something!! What kind of car hit you anyway?? I'm so glad you are still walking around! Let us know how you are feeling. Sorry about the accident. |
