I get very dizzy and sick when my sugar drops, So i Know its very scary. HUGS!!

I have really bad panic disorder and that's my main symptom -- I get tingly, numb, and really dizzy and can't see straight -- but I've never actually passed out.

I can relate to how scary the feelings are though.

Sounds like superventricular tachycardia. How is your blood pressure? Do you feel your heart pounding in your chest?? Did your doctor order a holter monitor test for 24-48 hrs??(I'm an ob nurse in oklahoma) Praying for you from here!!!!! hope all goes well

I did pass out once when I was preg. My Husband and I was in the grocery store and all of sudden I wasnt feeling good and I told him I was going to the car and half way through I was so dizzy I had to have a lady help me to a bench in the store I couldnt make it to the car, it was so scary and that was the only time it happened. Just be very careful in the shower.. Kristi

no, they haven't done that yet. I am going to a cardiologist on Friday. I am hoping we figure something out. It is just a consultation but maybe we can learn something good at least. I will do some research on superventricular tachycardia. I can't remember what condition my OB called it...and neither can DH. we just both know we couldn't pronounce it

I'll definitely keep you posted. Thanks for the info!!!

Oh no Mandee hope you start feeling better, my DIL is about the same amout of weeks as you and she has been sick all the time. Hope you feel better soon, you could be getting that bug going around it makes you dizzy and stuff, my son had to go get her the other day at the store too. If you need anything let me know girl

Oh No, how awful! I hope you are not getting that flu that is causing the schools to close. I hope you start feeling better soon and that it is not anything too serious!!!

Oh my gosh. I wonder if it could be orthostatic hypotension. That is when your blood pressure suddenly drops - it usually happens after suddenly standing up from sitting. But, you could also have a blood pressure drop in the shower due to warm/hot water - as it causes your blood vessels to dilate and then your blood pressure drops. Your heart rate then increases, trying to get your pressure up. You can black out/faint and everything. Does it sound like that at all?

In any case, my thoughts are with you - and I hope all turns out well.

What causes that? That used to happen to me quite often....It was scary..

I'll be praying for you, Mandee! It's scary when things like that happen and I'm glad you're seeing a cardiologist and can get this figured out. Someone else mentioned a sudden drop in blood pressure and that's the first thing that came to mind when I read your thread. Sending hugs and best wishes! I'll be checking for updates. You better not take a shower unless there's someone there to help you if it happens again!

I'm sorry you are having to worry about this. Poor thing!!!! I will definitely pray for you. Have they check your iron levels? I know I'm anemic and if I don't take my iron my body does all kinds of weird things. Please let us know ASAP what's going on.
