What Are You Getting Husband or Other Half for V-Day?
 
It 2 days til Valentine's Day and I'm clueless as to what to get for my husband. It's like he has everything I can't figure it out and I'm running out of time:eek: .

i don't think i am getting him anything since that man has EVERYTHING!!!! when he wants something he just goes ahead and buy it himself so it's hard for me..and he will be out of town for business trip..i do want to know what he is getting for me though..lol

Usually I get Tiffany's for V day. I don't know how that started it's just become tradition. Even thought last year I made him send my gift back just couldn't justify the money spent. Instead I got a small dainty heart and key pendant from Fortunoffs and I never take it off. We'll see...

well I bought some cute red fuzzy lingerie... for him..lol.. and I don't have a clue what else... I have class that day so it sort of limits what we can do... all I want is to spend time with my 2 boys... (Gizmo & his dad) ..that would be great!

My husband insists on getting me Tiffany's, yes I admit I am a Tiffany's girl!! So because its my :biggrin8:birthday and :heart toValentines day:heart to he is taking me there and I get to pick out what I want (he can't do it himself because the nearest Tiffs is over 200 miles away:eek:) I truly love the simplest things Tiffany's isn't necessary but INSISTED by him...I can't complain! :D

As for me getting him something, again we have no stores to shop at so we are going to go get a nice dinner and probably go pick him out a new outfit or something he needs. He has 9 days off so we have a mini vaca! :2cute: We are in the process of getting a new truck so that will kinda be a HUGE present when we finally get it.

I'm probaby just going to get the hubs a nice Halmark card and a cookie cake Mmmmmm :D.....Then we will probably go and eat out that night. Speaking of this I need to go and get me a nice lil lingerie outfit :p

oh man - me too on Tiffinay's - I used to have the perfume that my husband bought me and ran out ....now that he's gone I sure wish I still had it - it would be such a nice 'gift' to him to wear it on V day...

Oh I have never smelt it, I am on the website right now and I was looking at it! *Big HUGS* girl, I am sure he would have loved that gift too!! :hug:

It's really nice !! Why not get a 'his and her' set of perfume ??? That way it looks like you shopped for him and YOU get a new bottle of perfume !

I don't really even know if they sell mens cologne - just thought I'd throw it out there :D

my hubby and I have tried the whole eating out thing on v day :rolleyes: man it was THE WORST!!!! we will NEVER do that again!!! so I usually make him something that I NEVER make and something I KNOW he will LOVE... last year I got a whole bunch of ballons and filled our room with them and had candles lite a pathway to our bed and you dont need to hear the rest lol

We wil go to Dinner on Friday night and not Thursday it is always TOO packed, but he will get the above nicely wrapped

were going to Brown County on Feb 22nd. Staying in a cabin for the weekend! I can't wait, it will be so nice to get away for the weekend!

we are not getting each other anything this year ,we both got our v day gift for each other 2 weeks ago we bought a brand new car . a KIA RIO ,I've wanting a rio for awhile now been looking at them online and in the sunday paper ,it's mainly mine seeing i will drive it more than him ,but its hardly been driven since i broke my wrist.

I haven't even wanted to think about this. I'm so broke. I'll have to get creative! Last year I got a star named after his child hood best friend who passed away. I wrote a really nice note saying that now he can look up at the stars and know he is always watching over him. It made him cry, so I guess I did pretty good! Kinda a weird present for Valentine's day, but it really meant a lot to him.

My uncle died on Valentine's day 2 years ago now, so Valentine's day is a bummer for me.

Ohhh I forgot.. we got "ourselves" Alan Jackson tickets he is playing here onthe 28th with Rodney Atkins.. we managed to score FLOOR SEATS 6th ROW~!! I am soooooo excited!!

I got him a perfume set and probably I'll get him some chocolates. We usually don't spend a lot of money for Valentines because our Anniversary is on the 26th.

That's a good one....we are going out to dinner since it's also our 5th Anniversary. :D I told him he was lucky since he is killing two birds with one stone. ;)

Our youngest daughter turns 18 the day after:) So we always joke about this day, I labored all day on Valentines but didnt have her till after midnight:rolleyes: With this being her big 18th and graduation this yr, All extra $$ is set aside for her:) Gosh I just realized how old Iam getting:eek:

Honey always wanted an authentic Giants Jersey. So I got him that and a couple other little things. Of course with the big blue being in the superbowl I gave h im his gift early to wear.

He got me my new car for V-Day....:p

Guess I am going to have to give him something else too...:p

My DH says that Valentine's is a women's holiday, that it isn't for the men....Last time I got him something, it was a nighty for me, but for him to enjoy:biggrin: He doesn't like cards or anything like that..and what he needs, is stuff for the classic cars and I wouldn't have a clue where to start w/ that. So, we normally have a good meal in front of the fireplace and he normally gives both my daughter and I flowers. I am an easy gal...I don't ask for much, if anything and I don't expect much because he gives me so much as it is...I have my five dogs...which is five more than he ever thought we would have :biggrin: I get to stay home, etc, etc......:love:
