I am happy for you. I work in an emergency room and I have several patients that had the surgery. I have taken care of several patients for years that were overweight and then one of them would come to the er and they were not overweight anymore and then another one would come in and so on. I could not believe how good they looked and how happy they looked. They just glowed and had a bounce in their step that was not there before. Every one of them said that they are glad that they had the surgery and that they have not had any problems with it. Good luck... |
My aunt had the surgery and she is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy with the results she was a 26 and now she is a size 6-8 :D and she looks great and feels great!!! Me and my mother want to have the lap band surgery the beginning part of next year we want to loose 70 lbs each :) |
I am so happy for you. As you know, I am six years post op and you read my profile on Obesityhelp.com. I had some rough times in the beginning but have been mostly alright and couldn't be happier. Even thru the rough times, I have had no regretss. |
Both my mother-in-law & father-in-law have had that surgery.... They look fantastic and have been able to get off most all their meds. There are a couple they still have to take but it has decreased GREATLY. They FEEL better, are more active and are just happier all around (not that they were unhappy before, it just helped being able to be more active) Anyway.... I wish you tons of luck and hoping for a wonderful outcome to allow for many years of good health and fun!! |
Thank you all. I feel really good about this and look forward to coming off some of my meds. I'll be keeping everyone updated as things progress. I'm planning to take my laptop to the hospital with me:D |
good luck! I have heard good things about the results. Hope your surgery goes well. Keep us posted. I will keep you in my thoughts in the beginning of March! |
