NASCAR fans?
 
Who are the NASCAR fans here? I'm watching the Budweiser Selection show right now on Speed. I am so excited for the new season to get started.

Who is your driver? I've been an Elliott Sadler fan for a long time, but I started cheering for Kevin Harvick in the last few years. Although... watching the drivers walk onto the stage tonight, I was reminded of how stinkin' cute Jimmie Johnson is!. Woo-hoo!! Hubby loves Dale Jr, of course. We both grew up being Sr fans.

I like Jr. and Tony Stewart. And cant stand the Busch brothers...Yuk...met them when we raced legends, and they are both snots.

Huge Dale Jr. Fan!!!!! They start racing this Sunday, but the big race (Daytona 500) is on the 16th.

February 17th.....can't wait. I was gonna start a thread but you beat me to it. I am sooooo excited. I am a Jeff Gordon fan but like lots of them. Thanks to Misty, Murfee even has a Jeff Gordon harness:D

We like a lot of the drivers here...but do NOT like the Busch brothers at all.

A friend of mine once joked, talking about your favorite NASCAR driver is like talking about sex, religion and politics! :biggrin: I can see that!

my daddy made me watch nascar every sunday and he took us to the races a lot...we a fan of dale and we like dale jr. now :D

Ok well I am a huge Jimmie Johnson fan BUT I am now in transition to becoming a huge Casey Mears fan. (When I was younger I was a huge Jeff Gordon fan and transitioned to Jimmie, so I feel its only fair to give Casey some love... Well AND he's really hot and Jimmie is unfortunately married now. LOL!) My roommate is a diehard Dale Jr. fan who was raised a Earnhart Sr. fan. So before now race day was a battle, but now that Jr. in a Hendrick driver too, maybe we will be a little more harmonious.

My brother used to race with (I believe) Kyle Busch.

HUGE Nascar fan here! Matt Kenseth #17 is my favorite. I even have a cat named Kenseth and one named Earnhardt. My Cocker Spaniel is named after Kasey Kahne. Reed Sorenson is my second favorite. I cannot stand the Busch brothers, Tony Stewart, Gordon or Carl Edwards!

My hubby is a huge Jeff Gordon fan. I like Jimmie I think he is cutie. My hubby is going to Daytona. He goes every year to the opening of the season and to Homestead. It is right in our backyard practically. Every year we pick a place to go see the race at. We've been to Charlotte, Indianapolis, Houston, Talladega, Michigan. This year we want to go to Poconos. My favorite was the Charlotte racetrack.:p

I'm a HUGE Jr. fan. Hubby like Gorden. I dislike the Bush brothers too!!!! In our house they are just a bunch of cry babies!!! My nephew races midgets owned by Tony Stewart. We were big go cart racers. Our how family had the number 8 before Junior had it...so it was just natural for me to like Jr. Now we'll just add another 8 to the mix. I can't wait till the regular racing starts.

We go to the races in Texas each chance we get!! We will take our camper down and stay there a week. I'm a Denny Hamlin fan, and hubby is Clint Boyer, Dale Jarrett fan. I have been a NASCAR fan since I was a kid, I got my husband and family into it when we started dating. Planning on taking pepper with us this time. she is small enough to stay in the camper where her brothers are not.

I LOVE Texas! I've been to the spring race there several times but not since 2001. It is such a fan-friendly, fun track.

We've done the week-long camping as well. Isn't it nice to have the showers to yourself before everyone starts showing up?!

We are watching the speed channel now.They are practicing for the bud shoot out. My DH is a big nascar fan, I think he needs Nascar AAA,NO JOKE!
We are going to the fontana and vegas races,well he is going to the Vegas races with Laurie (Gypsyqueen) husband and Laurie and I will hand out.
We are Jr. fans. I also like Denny Hamlin (11)

I'm really not ready for the season to start though my husband becomes a big time hermit. Grrrrrr

Yea, the trick is to get there early before the hot water is gone. I hate it on sat and sun when they start diverting traffic and you can't get anywhere though. we have gotten where we drive through the parking lot, get as close to the trailer as we can, get out and go back for the truck later.
