I am so mad, living abroad I got cancelled out the voting office because they said my mail was returned. Dont know how that happened as I always get my absentee ballots. So I cant vote for Hillary today, I tried but they wont accept it by fax:(

Ours isnt untll May:thumbdown and the canidates are usually decided by then so Our votes are basically worthless

You know.. some threads like this don't need to be made bc voting is a personal issue.. if you make a thread you don't need to say who you are voting for.:thumbdown :mad:

You don't need to say who you are voting for. You don't even have to reply to the post or read it. I, myself, am proud of voting and will tell anyone who will listen who I am voting for.

Thats right I didn't have to read it, but Im a member of this forum and Im going to read posts, and if I don't think they are appropriate then Im going to say how I feel... just like everyone else does. :rolleyes:

But it bothers you that people post who they are voting for? You don't have to post who for who you are voting or even if you are voting. I just think that people get into a snit over very small things.

I agree your dont have to say who you are voting for but if you want to you should have that freedom.It is no different than having a bumper sticker on your car of having a sign in your yard.

....And what is wonderful about this country is freedom of speech, I can talk about anything I want, so can you. But with that, goes common sense.

(have you noticed ppl that have posted who they want to vote for are not being critized by anyone...just thought I would point that out)

:thumbup: I noticed know one was getting criticized :) I could understand if people were arguing, but no one is so I don't get what the big deal is?

Anyways, I missed the vote (not registered yet) But I AM gonna register for the official election, I'm voting for Obama!!

I second that, its wasn't even a big deal....To me and this is MY personal opinion, the other person that said there shouldn't be a post like this would be the person that would make it such a BIG DEAL :rolleyes: If you didn't like it you should of read it, rolled your eyes, and kept on going :laugh: Simple as that. They are actually a big seller too. I know this cause I see them every day at work lol

As for this being an offensive topic.. SO what if you want to say or you voted for. I just never got it.. Why is it a big secret? This is a free country and your not going to get shot or hung just cause you voted for so and so lol

I'm proud we can all get on here and say who we will be voting for. Not everyone has that right. People, esp. my age, take it all for granted. It's no longer a big deal you get to vote and people often get sick of hearing it. Well I don't care if I have different political beliefs than everyone, that's life, not everyone is going to agree 100% of the time. So with all that being said I'm proud to say I'll be voting for McCain. :D

The shirts were white with either rd or blue trim, and the elephant or donkey on it in red white and blue... I wanted a republican but they were out, only democratic ones were available but I too am for McCain so that just wouldn't be right.... I am in NC though, maybe you wil have more luck in CT.:D Dot

I have always thought it was funny how voting choices are made into such secret stuff,what are you ashamed of your choice? I say if you aren't, stand tall and shout it out.

I think some people are afraid to say who they are voting for because they just don't want a confrontation or maybe they really don't know anything about politics and would not know how to defend their candidate. I always say that if you don't vote then you don't have the right to complain about government issues.
