Please YT Prayers for my Daughter My daughter, Kelly, has been having "asthma" trouble (that's what the dr's and the er has thought) for the past 2 days. Her husband took her back to the er tonight and she saw another dr who looked over last night's CTscan of her chest and suspected an infection or inflamation of the tissue covering of her heart. They tested blood from the artery and the oxygen level was low. She has had severe chest pain, high pulse rate, low bp and has been unable to breathe out without pain. The good news is that her lungs are clear. They have admitted her and she's on morphine. That's all I know right now. I prayed a mother's prayer tonight for God to let me change places with her and bring her home to her 3 little children...Please, you don't even have to respond here, just say a little prayer for her if you can. I am frightened for her. There have been many trips to the hospital with her in the past 30 years.....it usually means a breathing treatment and we go home. Not tonight. |

Prayers headed out to your daughter tonight! I have had asthma since I was 7, so I know how scary it can be. I was hospitalized once when I was 13, but since have been able to control it with medication so far and I'm 24 now. Please keep us updated on everything! |
Prayers for your daughter. Having two kids with asthma, I know how scary it is. There is a upper respitory infection going around. My daughter and granddaughter is just getting over it and now my Grandson was sent to the ER because of it. they had it on the news and its a bad one. |
I will keep your daughter in my prayers... I can truly say I know what your going through. My mom was admitted last monday she has asthma and she has been in the hospital yesterday made 2 weeks.. pains in her chest, on oxygen, high heartbeat , and everything else. she is doing better than she was when she went in. but she is sooo congested. so their trying to tackle 2 problems at once. i keep hoping she will get better and come home SOON. this crazy weather is affecting a lot of asthma patients and sinus sufferers right now. i hope she gets well soon! :) |
I certainly will keep your daughter in my thoughts and prayers. I hope today finds her resting comfortably. |

Last night, before Kelly went to the hospital, my grandson was crying and scared. His sister (6) looked at him and said "She's ok, look, her lips are pink. If her lips were blue that would mean she's not breathing good enough..".then she went back to her book that she was reading. I talked to kelly and she's being referred to the pulmonologist. Her cardio dr said that at her age and with severe asthma he would recommend that pulmonology monitor her asthma instead of an allergist. Also her heart rate has returned to normal but she feels out of breath if she gets up and walks around. Her chest pain is being controlled. Thank you everyone for your prayers and concerns. It means alot knowing the power of YT prayers. |
